IT DOES GET PRETTY HOT ON THE EXTEROR- HOT ENOUGH IT CAN BURN YOU, BUT IT IS AN OVEN-IF YOU HAVE KIDS THAT ARE GOING TO USE THIS I WOULD PICK A DIFFERENT PRODUCT BECAUSE OF HOW HOT IT GETS. IT IS SMALL, BUT I JUST USE IT FOR MY HUSBAND AND I. IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE FOR A FAMILY I WOULD GET A BIGGER ONE.

I took away two stars for the timer control on the toast setting, since this is the main thing I use this for. It is very difficult to set it to a certain about of time. You have to sit and babysit it, which is like watching paint dry.

Best Buy has good merchandise for home, office, technical etc,. I love to go Best Buy. Every one there are very welcome. I recently bought a 6 slice toaster oven stainless /silver, i am happy so far, and prior to this purchase i got a GE top profile stove silver and the windster hood. and i really love it.
