The skillet makes a humming noise when the element turn on. That was ok, but it started staining around the area above the heating element. Food now sticks in the circular stained area. We now have to use cooking spray to keep food from sticking

What I love most about this Electric skillet is it’s large size, it’s 16 x 12 and about 4 inches deep! It’s super easy to use and clean. It gets hot fast though, so you may need to cook recipes at a lower setting.

I bought this because I don't like to use my mother's electric stove. It's easy to tote this skillet to her home, where she hosts family brunches; it fits in a shopping bag and now I can make great pancakes with no fuss. On Good Eats, Alton Brown used a similar skillet to cook down onions for French onion soup because the temperature control helps prevent burning. I haven't tried this yet but am looking forward to it.

I make so many things in this wonderful pot. From Steak, Pancakes, Eggs, Chicken Breast, Bacon & Shrimp. It's so very useful. And the easiest cleanup EVER.

Slick surface makes for easy cleaning. Seems to cook evenly and the price was right.

This Oster skillet is first rate. We use it frequently and love the non-stick surface that doesn't require oil, It is truly non-stick. It works well on our kitchen counter and fits easily into our storage shelf. All in all, a very useful appliance.

The Oster Skillet is an essential element of our cooking for ease and efficiency. Our old skillet of +15 years lost it's Teflon which made cooking in the skillet difficult as everything would stick and burn. The new ceramic Oster Skillet doesn't scratch with metal and/or plastic cooking utensils. Would recommend this product as its also a breeze for cleaning after use.

I read several reviews regarding this item and some were pretty negative. I have used this skillet numerous times and never have I had any issues with it. The heating is great, the clean up awesome even when it overcook my veggies. I have never had the burner from underneath burn thru. In fact, I will buy this skillet again. I do clean it immediately after I'm thru.

Christmas gift to my mother. To say the least, she loves it. She has already prepared several meals using this skillet and informed me that it is by far one of the best she has had. It is easy to set up, clean, and cooks within a reasonable amount of time.

I purchased this as a gift to myself because I love to cook. This item has done more than what I expected. I cooked chopped beef and vegetables in it and it came out GREAT.

Buy this one and not the cheaper one by Oster. You want this one. The bottom does not peel up like the cheaper one does. AND it holds more. I am very happy with this one.

This is a very useful pot to cook in, but it didn’t last too long. The cord developed a short in it & it would heat the pot anymore.

I bought this as an option for cooking when all I had was a generator for power. It worked great! I would definitely recommend this product for everyday cooking.

This skillet works great. I use it faithfully every Sunday to make breakfast for my entire family.

I got this as an alternative to having to use a pan on the stove and it has worked flawlessly.
