bought this opener for my wife who has trouble with the manual corkscrews. You do need to apply downward pressure on the unit to allow it to remove the cork but it works perfectly. Removes the cork from the bottle and then hit reverse to remove the cork from the unit.

I purchased this wine opener simply because mine broke. The broken opener was purchased from another retailer, and it was simple but effective. However, this wine opener is better than my other one! It's more durable, easier to use, and the battery stays charged for a longer period. This is especially helpful when hosting a party or social gathering. Made a great gift for a friend as well!

It took me a while to figure out how it really works! It's actually pretty simple! You just have to hold down and press on the down button and the bottle crock will come off, very simple and easy :)

I enjoyed the easy use of the electric wine opener. Once I got the handle of how to use the electronic wine opener it makes the process go faster and with no straining, tugging or pulling on the cork.
