No. Food processor motor kept stalling out first time I used it. I returned this item and got the Cuisinart food processor.

If your blender is leaking, check the following:
1. Is the sealing ring over the blade?
2. Is the threaded bottom cap tight enough?
3. Is the jar cracked at the bottom?
4. Is the threaded bottom cap cracked?
5. Is the sealing ring missing?
6. Is the sealing ring cracked, broken or rotting
7. Does the item being blended exceed jar capacity?
Your blender has a 3 years limited warranty. If you check all points of the blender jar and the leaking still occurs, please contact us directly to provide the best resolution. Have a great day!

Awesome Blender and Food Processor

I needed to replace an older Blender and an older Food Processor. I figured that this combo unit would be perfect and help clear up some clutter around the kitchen. Previously, I had purchased the Oster 700 Blender and Food Processor. I found that the Blender and Food Processor did not have the size capabilities that I was looking for. I had to do several smaller batches due to the size capacity of the food processor bowl. Other than that, I did not have many other issues with that particular unit. I have used the Food Processor a couple of times and have been very impressed with the functions and power. I made pimento cheese which is fairly thick and makes a great test to see the Food Processor in action. It handled blending everything together to quite a fine consistency which other Food Processors have struggled with. I have used the blender to make smoothies which came out great. The blender blade is very huge, so it can handle chopping and breaking down the ice with no problems. Overall, the Blender and Food Processor containers are made of thick, sturdy plastic and has a professional feel about it. I am very glad about the purchase at this point!!

Much more power than our old machine but this version is all plastic. We are not daily smoothly folks do this is good for us. Odd it came with no instructions which to me is a customer support miss. Took some time to find the manual online, ridiculous.
