This movie is pretty funny with lots of great moments.

as someone who wishes will ferrell would never have become famous because he is NOT funny, i have to admit that he plays a good dead pan moron in this. i like to believe in my heart of hearts that every time marky mark is yelling at him in this movie, its because he honestly hates him as much as i do.

This is one of the funniest movies every made. I would say this is one of both Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg’s best comedy films. I highly recommend this movie to anyone looking for a good laugh.

Not being a Will Ferrell diehard, I didn't see this movie when it first came out. That being said, it is one of the funniest films I've seen in recent years. The duo of Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are hysterical together. As mentioned previously, it's not Shakespeare, but then it's not expected to be.

It's not that he wasn't involved in comedies, but this movie cemented for me Mark Wahlberg's success with humor on screen. Buddy cop movies/shows can fail so easily, and yet this one is top 5 all time for me in that category. Also, Sony releases look great on Blu-ray.

Great movie, lots of laughs and a surprisingly funny performance from Mark Wahlberg. The Rock/Samuel L Jackson are great in their small roles and even Michael Keaton was a solid choice as the police captain. Good DVD extras and the unrated edition will have you never going back to the theatrical version.

Mark Wahlberg gets stuck with an idiot detective in Ferrell. They both try to take down a big crime boss while trying not to look incompetent in front of their captain, which has a job at Home Depot as well. This is a good comedy, absolutely add this to your bluray collection.

This movie is halarious! My only complaint is that the plastic covering that keeps the cover slip inside started to peel. The fix was easy enough with a new blu ray case.

I love this movie. I think it is an under the radar comedy that is a throwback to the funny movies from the 1980s. Wahlberg is really funny and I get the feeling that half of the scenes with Farrell are ad-libbed because they are so off the wall. Recommended highly.

Overall the movie was funny and enjoyable. Not as funny as Step Brothers or some of other Will Ferrill's older movies. I didn't quite enjoy Mark W's performance though. Almost seemed like he was trying too hard for the role.

There are some great one liners and scenes that will stick in your mind. So a pretty good comedy and I will end by saying, I want to see Mark Mahlberg do more comedic roles, because he is pretty good in them.

I never thought that Mark Wahlberg could make a funny movie, but Will Ferrell's character is all out fun! I watch this movie over and over. The lines are crisp, and the first 15 minutes are hilarious! Excellent movie for a weekend getaway. Loved it!

You've got action cops and paper pusher cops, but what happens when the paper pushers encounter a massive criminal conspiracy? Absolutely hilarious comedy and great stunts.

This is a very funny movie, especially for Wahlberg and Will Ferrell fans. Some of the jokes are a bit crass, so it's probably not appropriate for children. Very high re-watchability factor -- doesn't get old!

This movie is a super creative gem. Lots of surprises from Stars showing up in funny roles. Wahlberg is great at poking fun at his own image. Will Farrell gets to show a wide range of emotions in one of his funniest roles. Hilarious, quirky movie.

What a fantastic movie with some of the great names in show business - sometimes in a little different roles than expected. Great jokes, great acting. It's an all around funny movie which even provides a little insight in not so well known facts...

At first I only wanted to see this movie because Dewayne "The Rock" Johnson was it. But this actually turned out to be pretty funny. Got this DVD for a great price so i decided to snatch it up

I enjoy this movie a lot. Interesting cast of characters and weird situations. Hope to see director Adam McKay do another will Ferrell movie soon.
