I have tried a few previous generic brand versions, but have had to replace them after 6 months to a year of daily use in my vehicle. So far this cable has been excellent in the first month of use.

I was also looking for something with a smaller diameter shield at the plug so it would fit in the hole in the case as most cable have a larger shield and this fit perfectly
