I do have to press little harder to touch the buttons when I text or call. But I think in the long run this will help prevent my screen from breaking if I drop the phone the wrong way.

Greatly protects your screen from being scratched or broken. Very good investment along with an Otterbox Defender Case buy them both you won't regret it.
