Large case but very sturdy. I feel my phone is safe

First time the phone fell down the "protective" glass fell apart. The touch screen is a nightmare since I put it. And by the way, was correctly installed.

At first I was very impressed with this glass screen protector. Installation was much easier than the Zagg screens I used on my Galaxy S4 and S7. It looks really neat and clean, other than gathering some dust around the edges. This protector reaches pretty far to the edge, leaving just a small gap to make room for a case. Where this glass screen protector fails is in it's ability to actually adhere to the screen. Occasionally when pressing on the screen I can hear it CLICK, like it has bubbled up and isn't seated firmly on the screen. Probably because of this, touch sensitivity is also greatly reduced, especially near the curve of the screen. But what is truly unforgiveable is that the screen POPPED off and CRACKED the very first time I dropped it (about a week after installing it). It was a short drop of less than 3 feet. That's just not acceptable from a $45 product. My glass Zagg is STILL on my Galaxy S4 after what, 5 years? There is only glue around the edges, and it's not nearly strong enough. This product is a joke. I strongly DO NOT recommend.

Doesn't recognize touch! Have to physically push on the screen to use it. Taking it off and returning right away!

Can hear it separated when tapping the screen, which is annoying and affects screen sensitivity. It also has allowed small particles to gather between the screen protector and the screen itself. I am afraid to remove the screen protector to attempt to clean them, because it might ruin the screen protector if I try. I am also worried it might actually scratch my screen. It furthermore obstructs the screen itself, which isn't exactly great. Also I can see the dot matrix, which isn't that big of a deal. However, something with the screen protector makes it harder to see the screen in bright surroundings, even with screen brightness turned up. There is a significantly noticeable difference before and after using the screen protector. I'd like to get a replacement to try re-installing a new protector in hopes that maybe it will actually sit correctly on the phone this time. I do not know if it is covered by warranty or where to contact Otterbox, so I am writing this review instead. Also, yes, I used the installation instructions and tools, and installed it in a clean environment, with still air so no dust would settle, with clean hands, on a clean surface, and cleaned the screen to a point where I saw no smudges or dust on the screen prior to applying the protector.

I just applied this screen protector and although it's not perfect, it looks good. I did have to increase the touch sensitivity on my phone. It also seems to be freaking out a bit when I type and starts e by tearing <<--- example. Entering weird stuff for me. I may just need to get use to it. It does not cover from entire corner to corner but it's not bad. You can see the glue on the sides but that also isnt a big deal for me. Clear space between protector and screen on top and bottom even wth a case... hopefully they design one that fully covers the screen. But for now this is enough till I decide i don't care if i scratch the screen, then I'll take it off

I bought this screen protector for my Galaxy s9 plus and its so frustrating, I am not sure if I installed it wrong or what (followed the simple directions) but when using my phone I have to press down really hard on certain parts of the screen, SUPER FRUSTRATING WHEN TEXTING. I thought it just needed time to adhere to my screen but nope 2 weeks later and still having issues! I had a Zagg screen protector on my S8 and did not have this issue! And now debating on purchasing a Zagg screen protector again since I just spent $40+ on this otterbox brand. Ugh I hate wasting money! At this point I do not recommend this item.

I'm on my second one already in 2 months. Will be calling about a third shortly. They do not stick very well. I have followed thier directions twice now. My phone taps something and the screen protector falls right off. Both screen protectors have fell off the phone as my phone has hit something and they shattered as they lay beside the phone. They didn't even shatter stuck to the phone leaving my phone to be unprotected. Otterbox doesn't get in no hurry either to send your replacement even when their charging you to send it to you. This leave your phone unprotected for another week. Not to happy with thier screen protector and considering goin with a different one.

I am a best buy employee who purchased this screen protector online, as it isn't available in store and the Zagg shields are all defective. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of the protector but I have some minor issues with it. Two things that bother me about the protector are that it only adheres around the edges letting moisture between the screen and shield, and at the right angle you can see a grid of dots all across the screen protector, probably from the manufacturing process. I would rate the quality as equal to that of the Zagg glass protectors for the S8/S8+ and would give this product 5 stars if not for those 2 small issues. It's important to remember to turn on "touch sensitivity" in your S9's advanced settings as the protector does impact screen sensitivity. Highly recommended, and a huge plus is that this is compatible with most cases (I use Tech21 on mine) and does not pop off. Based on the method of installation, I recommend letting a best buy mobile specialist install this for you. It's an $8 charge but it's worth it to have your $50 protector installed correctly.

The only good thing I can day about this protector is it's ability to not deter touch responsiveness (once you've went into settings and made your sensitivity higher, and it keeps your screen looking as it should. UNTIL, it breaks. My first one broke in my bed. It didn't even fall. The adhesive is ridiculously poor quality. After paying $7 for the warrantied product to show up over a week later. I followed all the rep's further instructions to make sure it held. It fell off in two days. I've had my s9+ for less than 3 months and have already been through 2 Alpha Glass screen protectors. And the Guardian case's rubber is already wearing out.

Easy installation. Fits perfectly. No bubbles. I have the otterbox pursuit case, which is awesome by the way, and this glass screen protector fits perfectly with that case. I had a galaxy s5 before my recent s9+ purchase and always bought cheaper cases and screen protectors off of Amazon, but since I was spending big money on getting a new phone I decided to go otterbox and I feel like my phone is better protected. Again, this glass screen protector works perfectly. I would highly recommend it to anybody. I saw where some people had some problems on other reviews, but none here. I went ahead and turned my sensitivity up on my settings, but I don't know if its really necessary.

I had high Hope's for this screen protector, especially after purchasing several failures. It definitely had some sensitivity issues. It also cracked the first time I dropped it. I expected more from Otterbox. I feel like I threw $25 down the drain. I just bought another screen protector from a different company. So far, so good.

I wanted the best protection for my S9+ and purchased the OtterBox case and screen protector separately since no one has thought to package together.. It appeared to be of good quality.. Then it all went downhill.. The screen protector would constantly separate, clicking when used and allow dust between the screen and protector. It finally just fell off..For the cost I expected a far better product from Otter.. So now I am back to no screen protector and out the money I wasted on this junk..

I've bought two of these. Same problem with both. Spent 15 minutes prepping and cleaning and making sure I am in a dust free environment. Then as soon as I place it on there is a little bit of dust that attracts to the underside of the screen protector. It wasn't on the phone it was on the protector both times. Good luck peeling it off and getting the dust off and getting it to stick down again without a rainbow effect..and if you do try to clean it then it scratches and becomes worthless...which is what this product is. WORTHLESS! From a company that makes great cases they made a really crappy screen protector. I will not waste anymore money on these. Fool me once shame on you...fool me twice...well it's my fault I got burnt twice on these. And if you work for Otterbox don't even bother telling me to call you. I threw this where it belonged...in the garbage. I'll just wait for a better product to come to the market.
