After getting the Note 8, I knew it had to be protected. I didn't like the bulkiness of the more premium Otterbox, and didn't like the flimsyness of the cheaper one, so Commuter is a nice in-between. The phone's been dropped once, and it was successfully protected by this case. The only downsides is that there's no screen protector, so one will need to be bought separately, and the pink color can end up getting dirty. My wife has only had this phone for a couple weeks and the nice pink color is starting to darken just from general dirtiness. I'm sure cleaning it would help bring back the pink color.

Box case I've had I've been a hundred percent satisfied with. The OtterBox for the Note 8 phones has Port covers that peel back for the headphone jack and charging Jack. I like them as opposed to previous OtterBox cases with Port covers. The case has rubber grip sides with a hard outer plastic shelf so it slides in and out of your pocket easily. The case has a foam pad on the inside that protects the back of your phone and the sides and corners of your phone as well. Love my case

I have always bought Otterbox cases and this one is another reason why I've bought them. The case fits my phone perfectly and there are little lips on the top and bottom of the case that can protect the screen if you were to drop it on its face. It's a slim fit case so it doesn't make your phone too bulky at all. I had a defender but it was too bulky so I went with the Commuter instead. I would definitely recommend this case to anyone.

This is a great case; the phone has been dropped repeatedly and hasn't broken! It still fits perfectly after months of use but is easy to remove when necessary.

Sturdy and rugged, and pretty east to put on. Wraps around a bit to protect screen.

It is lightweight and easy to use but also provides protection and grip.

This case offers protection that most do, but I enjoy the slick back for sliding in and out of pockets, while having rubber edges for supreme grip.

First of all it is my favorite color - Pink! Secondly, it really protects my phone well and doesn't add a lot of weight to it.

It doesn't protect as well as some other Otter Box cases, but its also not as bulky and doesn't have the rubber exterior. Good protection in a slim sleek case that's comfortable to hold.

Good feel and grip, has protection on top and bottom from screen hitting surfaces but not the sides due to the edged screen

Have yet to drop my phone, but the case seems very protective and yet not very bulky. I would recommend this to a friend.

I bought the new Note 8 & pre-ordered this same case from Otterbox website. Wouldn't you know it I got the phone before the case arrived in the mail. Overzealous, I activated the new phone & thought I would just be extra careful with it until the case arrived. Didn't happen that way. Two days before I got the case, I dropped the phone, shattered the screen. Had to order a replacement. Since I've had the new phone in the case, I've dropped it a few more times & have had no issues.

This case is awesome.. feels great in the hand, not too bulky, but still feels like my phone is protected .

This case was not bulky and heavy. It protects my phone as it describes. I will stick to this brand.

Great case it has the raised sides to protect from drops. Love the color but gets dirty easy. Love the fact that the hard shell is on the outside.
