Case offers good protection and a fairly thin profile. I've used the Defender series in the past but found that they are too bulky and the built in screen protector scratches easily. This is a great replacement that still retains Otterbox quality.

I like this case for it's durability, and fit. It covers just a slight bit in the front which I like as well. All corners are protected, and it gives me some security about screen protection. It is slightly textured so it has good grip but isn't too bulky.

Love this case. I’ve used the commuter cases since my first iPhone years ago. This one feels a good bit slimmer than the old but still keeps the protection. The old ones used to come with a screen protector. It was just a cheap plastic one, but that’s still a missed feature on this generation, but not too expensive to buy seperately. I’d still easily recommend this case

Protects phone but not too bulky. Colors are cool but not too flashy.

I've had an Otterbox for my iPhone 5 (defender) and iPhone 6 (commuter) and both times I found reasons why I hated them. Not this time! I decided on the commuter for my iPhone 7 because I wanted something slim but still had good protection especially from dust in the lightning port (always end up cleaning it from pocket lint getting inside it). The case and outter shell are perfect. It isn't too rubbery that it gets caught in my pocket and once on it feels solid on my phone (unlike the iPhone 6 commuter that felt cheap). The case does slide across the table easy when setting it down but that's not a huge deal. I've dropped it before and no damage to the phone or to the case really. I got the case for around $23 on sale and used my Best Buy rewards to only pay $4 for it. I highly recommend giving this case a try!

I have used Otterbox cases for many years and they hold up for 1 1/2 to 2 years. This one seems to be of the same quality, so I expect it will hold up.. It is easy to put on and I feel protects my phone if it is accidentally dropped.
