I have always had good experiences with these cases. I bought one for my iPhone 7, even though the 7 is much more resilient without a case. The otterbox is not too big and is very shock resistant. The only complaint that I have is that the charging port access opening on the case doesn't line up perfectly. Thus, it makes it very difficult to plug in the charger cord to the phone.
