This case is tough even though it just seems like a regular case - unlike other OtterBox cases I've seen. I've dropped my new phone a couple of times on concrete and it hasn't cracked my screen, surprisingly. I workout 6 days a week and wear an armband. In order to use the armband, the case must be removed. Since it's two pieces, it's a bit of a pain to put it back on every day… but evidently not so much that I want to buy another case.

the case fits my phone perfectly, it protects it like it supposed to also. Whats not so great is that plastic breaks easily, as this is my second time purchasing this item. People ask why buy it again? Because if i were to put a cheaper version on my phone im sure my phone would have a broken creen or be scrathced up by now. Id rather re-purchase a 30 dollar case than re-purchase a 200 dollar phone. Has dust protectors also hich are nice, leaves my ports clean which is an added bonus.

Great case that allows me to use ios7 control center on my iPhone 5. The defender wasn't allowing me to do so. Instead of buying the new defenders for 60 bucks from Otterbox, I went with this and couldn't be happier. It's the perfect balance between protection and usability. It also doesn't add nearly as much bulk to the phone as the defender.

This case is super! It's a bit bulky, but not overly. I dropped the iPhone while riding my bike. Even after bouncing on the asphalt road, the phone had no damage works fine. My only MINOR issue is with the on/off button cover. It;s almost too tough to push the button down. BUT, I'll take a tough button, over bouncing my phone of the asphalt at 20 mph! Get it for your phone !

This case has proven to be worth the investment. Easy to handle, no blockage of the camera.

I wanted something very pretty for my new iphone, but being I did not get the insurance and was not used to the phone yet, I did not want to chance breaking it. My husband had the super protective model, but I chose the commuter which is a little better looking. I have been very happy with it. But saying that, it is not the glitzy stylish gold flake one I was looking at previously. Of course the phone would not survive a fall in that one. Sacrificed extreme style for extreme padding.
