I've owned this case for about a month. I had used the Defender series in the past on my old iPhone, but it was thick and was difficult to remove from my pocket due to the rubber-like exterior. The Commuter series is thinner and is easy to pull out of my pocket because it has a plastic back. This case has also been durable. I've dropped my phone at least five times in this case, and my phone is still intact.

The Otter Box case is excellent for protecting the iphone. It has a rubber inner shell and hard plastic outer shell. This case protects the phone from drops and even helps protect the screen from scratches and shattering. The case is hard to break and will last a while.

Great little phone cover. Protects my wife's phone with no worries. I'd buy this again.

Overall, this is a good quality case. I wish it were a little more slimline, but its the best of the very durable cases size wise. The cover over the charging port is a little cumbersome, which gets annoying, but its not too big of a problem. A little hard to get on initially, but good fit once it is on. Check online pricing before you buy in store though. The same case on Best Buy's website was considerably cheaper than in store, but the store price matched.

Had same case for iphone4. Old case cracked at charging dock but warranty made easy replacement. Company seems to stand by product so I went with them again.

I have been buying Otterbox cases for all my Apple products for many years because they work. Great design and fit and all it takes is a few accidental drops to realize you made the best decision ever to buy it for your iPhone or iPad. Otterbox has carefully designed each case to protect and it does that without question.

Best case money can buy for the iPhone 5s. I bought this for my wife's phone due to her " Oops I dropped/broke my phone again" Syndrome. It has been 2 months already, countless drops and the phone is still alive! Usually I would have filed at least one insurance claim by now. This case paid for it self on the first day my wife TOUCHED the phone she dropped it twice " NO BS" ! Thank you OtterBox!

The design of the polycarbonate shell is redesigned from the 4s version. The port covers are more flexible than the previous version. I cut off the power port cover on the 4s and the polycarbonate shell below the home button cracked shortly thereafter. Since the silicone is more flexible on the 5s version, I have not cut off the port cover and the bottom shell is still intact. Also, the white shell/grey silicone look really sharp on my silver 5s.

This cover is easy to install. It provides a great deal of protection
