Great phone case, it is a bit on the bulky side but for good reason, it is a protective case. You can’t go wrong with this case.

I just got a new iphone Xs Max and I believe it is very important to protect it with a good case. When it comes to cases I always trust OtterBox.

I feel my new iPhone is totally safe in the new Otterbox case

My wife just got the iPhone Xs Max which is by no means a small or inexpensive phone. With this in mind she needed a case that adds protection but not additional size. This case does just that and protects the phone well without making it bulky. We had this same case series on her last phone and it still looked new even after 2 years where a toddler used and dropped the phone a lot. The case is not slippery either which is great because the iPhone without a case is super slick and easy to drop. The case has two pieces, a rubber inner shell and a plastic outer. The inner rubber shell is exposed around the front and sides for grip. All buttons are easy to press with no difference in feel when pressed without the case. The mute switch on the side of the phone is exposed and easy to flip as well. The case has a raised rim around the front so one can place the phone screen side down on a table and the screen will not touch. A glass screen protector can be used without issue with this case as well but is not included of course. Wireless charging also works through the case just fine with a Samsung wireless charger.

It fits perfect and easy to hold. I would definitely recommend this case for iPhone users. The price was great and I love the color

The XS Max Commuter case offers great protection with relatively little bulk. I don't feel worried about the phone breaking if I were to drop it from a reasonable height at all. The design is pretty aesthetically pleasing and the phone fits snugly, however I could see the case losing its shape over time if I were to repeatedly take it on and off. The case obviously adds a little bit of noticeable bulk, however it is not horrible.

Glad I got this case. I had another one, the UA clear case which works great but was tired of the scratches clearly visible from having dropped my phone or being in my pockets with my keys or anything. I was worried this might be too bulky but it isn't. This is a great balance of protection and not too much bulk. (If you want some protection AND the Fort Knox Super Enclosure Case like some of the crazy Heavy Duty type cases, this is not for you). Of note. this case is not wireless charging friendly like my UA clear case and some other cases but I'm okay with that I still find it easy to take out for wireless charging or simply plug in at the bottom. I also like the fact that the connection port has a dust cover as well. Sound and phone calls are great. No interference or muffled sounds or voices. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CASE ALL AROUND GREAT! Wished it came in a crystal clear or Smoked tint version or even classic white but it doesn't. Black is classic and professional as well. Works great with Pop socket!

The Otterbox is the right balance between robust protection and not so bulky or heavy that it overwhelms the phone it’s meant to protect. And I have to admit I like that window thatnlet’s The Apple show through.

I'm as back pocket kind of girl, and this case gets the job done without crowding. Its heavy duty build has made my life so much easier because I no longer worry about my phone taking a tumble. I am actually on my second case now after over a year of faithful service. My only reason for the new case, the same one in fact, was that the rubber seal that covers the charging port tore loose. Not a huge problem, but I wanted full protection so I got a new one. I highly recommend this case to anyone who is an active but slightly clumsy person. You definitely won't regret it!

It is a great case not to bulky. It protects your phone because I have dropped it and it was safe. Just the case doesn’t have a lot of grip but still worth it.

I've been using otterbox commuter cases on my phones for years. This fits as expected, and provides the protection that I've come to expect from Otterbox. If you're used to having these cases, there is a feeling of comfort in the consistency that you get by pairing the otterbox commuter case with the iphone. I've dropped my phone from the seat of my truck onto pavement without any damage to the phone. This is an easy pick to pair with the full glass build of the iPhone X or Xs.

What can I say that this case doesn't prove everyday. I work all over at my job. Inside outside everywhere. This case does not fail. my phone has been dropped, hit out of my hand across the room and this case protected it every time. Every time I get a new phone I get a new case to go with it. When I trade in my old phone the Apple employee always says how great my old phone looks and I always get top price for trade in.

I love this case. It isn't too bulky. The color doesn't show dirt. My phone has been protected since day one!!

Upgraded to the otter box commuter after about 6 months of the otter box symmetry. More protection easier to take on and off. Just a bit thicker than the symmetry but I don’t have to worry about a drop even on the screen cause the rubber wraps over the screens edges. It’s a two piece case. Rubber on the inside wraps around all the phone then it’s a hard plastic shell that clamps on to it keeping it stable and secured. This case doesn’t disappoint.

This is my fifth Otterbox case. I’ve used symmetry, defender, and commuter series on various phones over the years from iPhones to various androids. I work in construction and am always around dirt and dust. This is why I love the commuter series of cases. The two layers and extended rim around screen help prevent any damage from drops and the port cover stops dirt and dust from clogging the charging port. The lack of the port cover is why I stopped using the symmetry case and the defender is just too big. The commuter is a nice middle ground. Use a screen protector and commuter case and it’s like having an indestructible phone. Cant go wrong with Otterbox.

This is one of many OtterBox phone cases we have purchased. We have a family of 5 all who have cell phones. With the upgrades that we seem to go through it seems we are always having to get new cases. The Commuter case offers great impact protection while remaining slim and comfortable to carry in your pocket. We have not been disappointed with any of the OtterBox cases we have purchased and this one gets the same high marks from us.

This case is awesome!!! I have this case on my iPhone 11 and both my 11 Pro Max and my iPhone XS Max. This case is durable, classy and easy to get in and out of my pocket. I’ve been very happy this product and it’s priced reasonably. I definitely would recommend it - checked it out for yourself and see the protection that it offers and it’s stylish!!!

Very good protector of cell phone and not bulky. Easy to remove and install.
