The Otterbox provides great protection for both the screen and and ports on my vintage Samsung Galaxy S8 cellular phone. And, the Otterbox metal case and liner align almost perfectly with my Galaxy S8 phone. I am still able to access the Galaxy S8's ports very quickly and easily when access is desired or necessary for recharging or downloading an update to software. My previous cellular phones were very simple to operate and to update. To me, the Galaxy's Learning Curve is much steeper than it should be and the option of relying upon the cumbersome Tutorials is very offputting. Also, the Galaxy S8 assumes if I touch the space bar twice, which is very easy to do if I'm holding my phone in one hand while I'm typing with the other hand, that what I really want to do is start a new sentence. So it does. It inserts a period and a space and makes the next letter I type Uppercase!! Perhaps I could learn how to disable the autocorrect function. On the positive side, I do like and appreciate very much the photo capabilities of the two cameras on my Samsung Galaxy S8.

I'm more of a defender but while I had to wait for my replacement and heard my popsocket would stick (it doesn't without some rigging) I love it.

2yrs later the case is chipping/breaking away and I have a hairline crack in my screen. NOT DURABLE AS I THOUGHT.

Fits the phone perfectly, all of the buttons line up and work perfectly. Does not interfere with screen or buttons. Charger and A/V plug covers protect the ports. Has saved my phone from drop damage at least 10 times by now. It's thickness makes it easy to fit in your hand and pocket without being bulky. Grip and texture are excellent! I really like this case. Highly recommend.

The case comes in several colors, is not too bulky, and fits the phone well. It protects the back and sides of the phone without interfering with screen edges or control buttons. The case is slightly raised along the top and bottom edges to help protect the screen from direct impact should you drop your phone. I like the added protection of the screen protector.

So. To preface this. My wife and I had purchased new phones. But we also have a toddler who loves to play with her phone. And sometimes throw it as all 2 year olds do. I knew she needed something to protect a $700+ phone. The glass it uses is pretty darn tough already. But the phone itself. Not so much. Having already broken her last phone due to being thrown we needed a good case to protect it. Enter the otter box. It's well survived and protected her phone from being thrown down the stairs onto the concrete with nothing more than a tiny scuff on the hard plastic. Plus, it has a cover for the charging port and headphone jack as to help prevent dust and water from getting into it. The phone itself can be dunked with no damage done. But the case adds a bit more security. I highly recommend this case! It's well worth the money. Which is already pretty low considering the high quality. Added bonus that the wife loves the color.

It was easy to put on, great protection! Love the color! Easy to grab and it doesn't slip out of my hand. Light! Only thing I missed was a screen protector, which was included in previous purchases for older phones! Having to add in that extra purchase, made protection of my phone way to expensive!

Case is not too bulky, offers great protection , even on the edges, comes out of pocket easily, easy to grip. A++

This purchase was for my wife's new Samsung Galaxy S8 and the choice of an Otterbox was a given. My wife needs a case which provides adequate protection commensurate with her daily activities while offering a slim, minimal design. She needs to be confident that her phone is protected without having a bulky, cumbersome case. This is a great case for her, but note that it does not include screen protection.

This OtterBox is easy to use and looks great on my Samsung S8. While it provides a lot of protection, it's slim enough to easily fit into a pocket.

The Otterbox Commuter case is simple and sturdy. Just slide the Galaxy S8 right into the rubber layer and snap on the outer shell. Done. It is less bulky than Otterbox's Defender case, and since it is smaller, it makes it easy to slide the phone into your pockets and it still retains the durable outer shell and inner rubber to protect the phone. By far one of the best cases to own.

I love this otter box case. It fits the phone perfectly and is thin enough to fit in my pocket while still offering great protection.

The Otterbox Commuter case provides great protection for the Samsung Galaxy S8 phone. We have two identical phones and had the Otterbox on one and purchased this one from Best Buy for the other. The price was higher from Best Buy, but was able to pick up in store since we needed it immediately. Nice feel, it provides protection without adding bulk. It goes easily in and out of pockets, yet has enough texture to give a more secure grip on the phone. Not a flashy look, but protection is the goal for us. The Commuter does NOT include any type of screen protection. It works with our screen protectors, be sure to select a case friendly screen protector.

OtterBox Commuter has long been my go to phone case choice. I have used it for years on my different phones and it has always done an outstanding job of protecting my device without too much unwanted bulk or the half assed protection of some of the other cases. This case hugs my phone with a soft and hard shell that I feel does a superb job of absorbing shock from reasonable hits and falls but still fits comfortably into my hand and my pocket. It is not too bad on the old pocket book either;) BTW...the blue color of the new Commuter case compliments the exclusive Best Buy Coral Blue Samsung 8 color perfectly!

Nice bump guard protection and finally a color I've been waiting for. Just remember if you want the glass protected, you still have to buy a separate glass shield...would be nice if they would have a product option combo pack of the case also with shatter-resistant glass protector to make it perfect.

The way it is designed gives you great comfort knowing your phone is well protected. At first I couldn't figure out how it would protect the face of my phone and then I realized that the top and bottom of the case was good protection for the front of the phone. The price was very good to.

I've used several Otterbox cases in the past and always prefer the Commuter series because it is not as bulky as the others, yet still offers good protection. This one seems nice, but due to the curved edges of the phone, it doesn't come up as much on the sides as the iPhone version. It is taller on the top and bottom, so I hope it still protects the phone in case of a fall. Overall a good buy.

I got this product for my sister and she loves it! Most of all because its in here favorite color. I did get it at a much better price. Most of all makes the phone not so bulky and still looks amazing! She has dropped the phone a few times and nothing has happened to the phone.
