I asked specifically since packaging is only labeled iPhone large 2022. Then the hassle of the return. Ended up just buying one online from Amazon and it worked perfectly.

Posted .Very sorry for the confusion with the generic label and the salesperson you were originally working with on this purchase. Although the iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro Max have nearly identical overall dimensions, their camera and control button placement isn't the same, so we do make distinct cases for each.
