It gives me a sense of security when handling my very expensive iphone 14 pro max. I've dropped from my lap once while exiting my vehicle and it did what it's supposed to do and protected my phone. I also have a screen protector I believe from Zagg. The case has rubber grips along the backside that help prevent from sliding off of surfaces.
