Had a Commuter Series shell for a previous iPhone and never had an issue with a drop. This one fits perfectly and seems to have higher edges to protect the screen.

This item does not fit the phone properly and caused the belkin screen protector to bubble. This was confirmed by Apple. We returned and got an Apple case.
