So after dropping my brand new phone and having the screen shatter I decided once it was fixed to try the Otter box everyone raves about... The selection is small and they are basic, which is ok not a big deal.. Good thing is Its not a bulky as a I thought it would be, it still fits in my back pocket which I was very happy about and it came with a screen protective film so that was a plus as well. I'm happy to say I have unfortunately dropped my phone a few times and luckily the otter box has saved it . There is a bottom piece that is flimsy rubber I'm just waiting for that to break or stretch out, hoping it doesn't happen but that's usually how things work out... Over all good so far we shall see how it holds up!

I searched til I found the pink case which is so pretty! Took a bit to assemble, not the easiest to get apart, but great protection for the phone. Comes with a holster and belt clip which is cool if you like or need it. The sound is great, touch is the same with just a naked phone. The only I down side is dust gets under the clear screen, as it is not a waterproof or dust proof case. Small disadvantage, tho, to look cool.

This product protects my iPhone from scratches, cracks, and damages. I have used this particular brand of case for approximately 3 years on various electronics. The only complaint I have is price and lack of color variety. My main concern is the protection of my phone, which this item does well. It also includes a screen protector, which saves the customer from having to purchase one separately.

I bought this for my iphone 5c. I hated to cover up the yellow but I need a case for protection from dings. Plus you can still see the color from the back. And the grey and white looks good. Not as bulky as the defender case. Great case for the money

Would've been nice to have a choice of styles rather than the only black color. Seems study and durable without being too bulky. Don't really use the clip that comes with it or it would be too bulky! The screen protector is awful. There's a lil bit of space between the iPhone screen and the protector that enabled dirt/dust to get between it. Had to clean several times. Also because of the space it made the touch screen difficult to use. After one week I ended up removing the screen altogether and buying a screen protector that goes directly on top of it instead.

This cover is great at protecting against dropping which I do a lot. My only complaint is that something about the otterbox really picks up dirt like a magnet. This is my 3rd one in a year. I hate how it looks when the it starts to turn black. I clean it with alcohol consistently (once every 1-2 weeks minimum and after drops) I wash my hands regularly and I do not work in a dirty environment so I do not know where the black comes from. I keep buying them because I love the colors and the price is far more reasonable than lifeproof with better protection in my opinion. (unless you need waterproof which this model is not FYI) Will continue to repurchase in darker colors.

We bought this for my daughter who is 8 and I was worried that it wouldn't stand up to all the "love" that she would put it through. And let me tell you this Is on great case. It's dropped daily, spilled on daily, and it's been left outside on more than one occasion. After all of that I can say this.... Her phone looks brand new. Still. I'm shocked and amazed that it's in such good shape. The case looks loved on but its affective and I'm quite happy.

I bought this at the same time as my iPhone. I wanted something to protect but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg, which is what some cost. This is a silicone layer that probably will afford light protection but I can't see it doing much more. It does have a thin screen protector that adheres pretty will, except for two corners. No matter how many times I attempted, the same place did not adhere. It was fairly easy to put the two part covering on and I haven't tried to remove it. We'll see if it lasts (have no doubt it should) and protects.

I find the case to be very convenient and definately protects the phone -occasionally have to take it out and clean the plastic cover from dirt and grime getting behind it but that is expected -the only draw back I have is the holster belt clip -the little tabs that hold the clip to the holster are plastic and once they break it is pretty much useless -I would like to see a stronger clip made available that was reinforced with metal so that the clips would last as long as the cas

The Otterbox Defender series is just what every iPhone owning family needs to protect their mobile investment. My wife dropped her phone with another case on it and the screen shattered on impact! With the Otterbox, our eight year old son is now allowed to play his games on it without worries. It has been dropped several times and still good as new. If you have young ones that use your iPhone, this is what you need to protect it from accidental drops and overall rough play. Best investment ever!

We bought this case for our daughter for her new Iphone. She used it for about a week and now she finds every excuse she can to take it off. Let's face it...with any phone case, there are two issues. 1) You want the phone to be protected. That is the main reason you get a case in the first place. 2) You want the case to be as unobtrusive as possible. In the case of protection, this case is great. I have no complaints. This case is known for being very vault-like. It does not disappoint. The problem, (aside from the cost), is that the case is difficult to work with. It takes a very thin phone and turns it into a clunky, difficult to work with phone. My daughter was complaining about hair and other debris getting behind the screen protector and bothering her. MY sense is that she just got tired of dealing with the "clunkiness" factor. A phone case only works if you use it. Since my daughter is now looking for any excuse she can find to NOT do so, it makes for an investment that did not pay off. We are going to force her to use the case, as much as possible. There are lots of other cases available that are less expensive and less clunky. They are probably also less protective. In our case, that trade-off is something we are willing to make, so our daughter will actually want to use the case. James

When I bought this case for my son's iphone 5c I knew I was purchasing a quality product. Otterbox cases are built very well with good solid materials so your phone is in good hands. I'm glad I chose this. It isn't in the exact same level of protection that the Defender series offers, but close enough. Less bulky than a Defender, good looks. It's great.

My wife's last phone suffered a crack screen. I firmly believe the $15.00 case didn't do her any favors. While the price for Otter Boxes is quite steep, it is much cheaper than replacing a phone, especially if you are not upgrade eligible. I am a big believer in the cases and don't mind coughing up the extra cash for the piece of mind they provide.

I got my daughter an IPhone and I know how she drops phones. We have been very lucky for her to only have cracked the screen on her droid once in the 4 years that she has owned a cell...but an iPhone is different. Handle with care...so to be extra cautious this case was purchased and 2 months in and its doing it's job. (So far so good)

The Otter Box is a must with our family! When you buy a new expensive phone or tablet be sure to get a Otter Box to fit!! Our grandchildren are always in a hurry and tend to drop their phones several times a day. With a Otter Box we don't worry about breaking phones because the Otter Box has always protected their phones!

I really like the color and I need this case since I broke my other iPhone screen twice before. I've dropped my new phone since I bought this case and the screen didn't crack. My only complaint is that sometimes I keep my phone in my back pocket of my jeans and the blue rubbed off a little on the case.

Great protection for my iPhone 5. Virtually indestructible. Only complaint is that over time the rubber flaps that cover the power plug, headphone jack, mute button, etc tend to wear out and don't fit as snug as when new. Minor issue----overall a very good option for protecting your phone.

great case overall. the screen protector that comes with it is sub-par, but the rest of the case is well built. i have used otter boxes before and they are built to last. The only complaint is that the apple logo is not centered in the logo cutout on the back of the case. little OCD.

My 13 year old son uses this Otterbox. It is extremely durable. I am confident that his phone is protected using this case. It has dropped a number if times during basketball and it still perfect. I do wish it was water proof. Other than that I couldn't ask for a better product.
