This replaced a more streamlined Commuter style Otterbox case I had for years. They no longer make it so I stepped up to this. I was worried it'd be too bulky to use and the screen protector would make it hard to use the touchscreen. No issue on either counts. Works great.

Have otterbox or lifeproof for ALL my devices - I like the iPad defender better than the Nuud and I have an iPad 4 so it's defender all the way - I haven't had it a month and it's already SAVED my iPad at least 3 times - lol - I'm CLUMSY!!! Lol! One of the best products ANYWHERE!!

Bought this to protect a work issued iPad that is used to perform inspections in a warehouse, and production space. It is easy to put together, and feels substantial. I do think it would be a great addition if a strap were added to the back to assist holding it.

Bought this because I have two kids and needed a case that could withstand a lot of wear and use. I love the built in screen, don't have to worry about it peeling up. Has a stand for the iPad too. Only thing I would like to change would be to make a lighter one. Overall a great iPad case.

I've owned a few different Otter boxes for cell phones and they have been decent. This one for the iPad has been fantastic! I've dropped it once and not had an issue. The Otter stood up to the 5 foot drop like a champ even landing on a corner. Not even a crack!

I have used OtterBox for my and my family's phones. These are very reliable. I don't know how many times someone in my family has dropped their phone, and they are still in one piece. Not even a crack. the OtterBox does a great job for my kids' tablets too.

I bought this case for my older iPad that I was transitioning to my 7 year-old after I got a new one. It's been dropped several times already and the case has kept it intact every time. This case protects all aspects of the iPad without hindering it's use.

Not certain why I didn't buy one sooner! Have had an OtterBox for two different iPhones, but never for the iPad I've owned for three years now. Solid, rugged protection for your tablet. Do yourself a favor -- protect your investment with an OtterBox.

I bought this after the kids dropped the IPad and had to pay a pretty penny to replace the glass. So far, this has worked wonders. I like how it's sturdy and with stands the kids ruggedness. They carry the IPAD everywhere and this case sure has helped.

We were giving an old iPad to our 7 year old nephew, and REALLY needed something solid to protect it. This case really fit the bill! I feel really comfortable letting him have the iPad without any worries about accidental breakage. Fantastic case!

The OtterBox Defender is so well made and is made of strong material. This product protects my iPad very well. It has. Even dropped on several occasion and has not even a scratch! I would definitely recommend this product to my family and friends.

Definitely satisfied with the otter box case. I've had one on my GS4 also, that's the main reason i purchased this one for my son's ipad. He's dropped it a couple of times already & thanks to the otter box i don't have to pay to get the screen fixed.

This otterbox case (defender) fits very snuggly around the Ipad. The clear protective cover over the front is easily cleaned. The rubberized back and sides makes for a nice non slip yet comfortable grip on the Ipad. The separate front top cover that snaps over the corners to conceal and protect the front when not being used also doubles as a handy stand for 2 different viewing angles. Overall I am very happy with this case as it affords the best protection in my opinion for holding the Ipad as it is and any incidental accidents should be minimized by its snug shock absorbing materials.

I have small children who manage to find my iPad often. This case fits perfectly on my 3rd Generation iPad and will withstand just about anything. It also cleans up easily. I would recommend this product for anyone with an old iPad.

I sat my iPad on the roof of my car and forgot it. I then drove onto the expressway and it blew off the car. I used find my iPad and found it the next day on the side of the road after it had rained. It was a few miles from the on ramp so I would have been going about 70 when it flew off the car. It also had an Otterbox carrying harness on it. It skidded so far the straps on the harness were cut threw. The iPad was in perfect shape. Amazing!!

Bought our daughter her first iPhone for Christmas. We wouldn't own an iPhone without an Otterbox. They are so durable and have saved our phones more times than we can count! Love, love, love them. Easy to assemble and remove.

Fits the ipad perfectly. Comes with a hard cover that can be used to hold the ipad upright so you can place it on a flat surface and not have to hold it with your hands. Protects the flimsy ipad case on the off chance the item is dropped. No damage to the ipad despite my toddlers best efforts to destroy the thing.

Very sturdy, gives great protection to ipad. Was easy to put on ipad. Different sizes so can be used for other tablets and phones. Great warranty if there is a problem with it you don't have to send it off you can take it back to Best Buy and they can help you! It didn't take away the look of the ipad it actually enhanced it. I would and have recommended it to family and friends. I feel it was a very good value for the price.
