From the time I put it on mt IPAD I felt that my purchase was well worth the cost.

Solid case built to protect your iPad from the toughest conditions. Certainly don't go throw it off a building or anything...but if you are worried about drops, worry no more!! It also can be used as a stand to watch movies in bed. I love it!

Not too heavy or bulky for the protection it provides for the iPad from a 3--year old. I got it on sale so price was reasonable and have been using it with no issue after many step on and thrown around.

I love this Otterbox case, I use it every day with my ipad. It's easy to put on and has protected my ipad from many drops and bumps over the years.

Let me start by saying that the case itself is great. It has a very solid, confidence inspiring feel to it, and I have always used Ottorbox for my IPhones. The problem for me, and main reason that I will be returning it today, is the stand. It is very, clunky, and awkward, and at times while using it, the IPad will slip out from the bottom when typing, or moving it around. I have used it for four days, and have had enough of it already. I may try the Symetry series case, as I have become accustomed to the folio type case from my mini. I hate to rate any Ottorbox product so low, because, they have always served me well, and I'll reiterate that the case itself is great...just hate the stand.

Great case for protecting iPad. Excellent drop protection. Only downsides: it's bulky and heavy, and you need to open to clean out dust and debris from time to time.

Love OtterBox items, they have always worked for me to help kee pmy stuff from breaking. It also makes it easier to get things fixed and also have peace of mind. Always get protections when buying expensive items, it is just smart.

This is my second Otterbox Defender Series Case for a Apple iPad 2 Air provided by my employer. The first was run over by two cars at approximately 40mph. Case was trashed but the iPad survived without a scratch!!!!!!!

This is a great case if you want good protection on your iPad. Was pleased it did not have magnets on the case to wake it up like the iPad 4 defender case has. Keeps the device light while maintaining protection.

I love otterbox products...so much so that I left my iPad Pro boxed till I was able to purchase a case...unfortunately I have to move the silicone and pull the upper corner apart every time I have to power off or place the pro to sleep...every time... not sure what is going on with piece that should press down on the sleep/wake button...it's pretty frustrating to say the least...I would still recommend otterbox products to my friends as I've had plenty devices protected by their products (you'll be amazed how clumsy and heavy handed my family can be)...this is the first issue I'm experienced in years.

This case has been excellent for my 7 year old son. Extremely sturdy and well made. Otterbox is awesome.

My son uses his air everyday at school and I feel very safe with him carrying it in the Otterbox.

I'm not sure if the product needs more material between the plastic and the device, but after falling 3 feet onto concrete I now have a cracked screen on my less than 2 week old iPad, I feel like the case did little to nothing to protect my device. I've been an Otterbox user since the iPhone 3GS and have always purchased and recommended the product until this incident, I called the 855 number and was hung up on when I told them that I wasn't happy that they weren't able to do anything for me after I explained what happened. It seems that "Rugged Protection" and "Protects against drops" are a bit misleading advertisement.

It keeps my iPad safe from drops and from a 3 year old .. Can't ask for more :)

Case it great to store it in when not in use. Protects it well.

This ia a great case, I used it for my 8yr old wonderful so far.

This case works well on the warehouse floor, where supervisors spend a lot of time working with the iPads in a production environment.

This is an awesome case. It also fits into my iPad holder so that I can record my educational videos.

It is the biggest pain to get it apart and to get the iPad in. This is one that you only want to buy if you plan to never remove it. It broke when I tried to get the iPad out.
