I use this every day outside in fields. I actually mount the iPad to the front of my four wheeler and ride through rough corn fields all day. I mounted a Ram Mount to the snap on cover and mount it to my four wheeler rack. The case provides great protection, I just wish that all the holes were sealed in case I get caught in the rain. The Lifeproof is way more expensive and the cover does not hold the device as tight so I don't think it would stand up to the bumps I ride over every day all day.

Bought this case because I wanted something that could protect my iPad while also having a built in stand. I use my tablet for school so I needed a good stand so I could type easily and The built in stand is perfect. I also needed a good case for when the tablet is in my backpack and for my toddler when they use the tablet. This case is perfect and I'm so glad I bought it.

I've cracked a few Ipad screens, but have bought Apple Care in the past, which replaced the screen for $50. With this product, no need for Apple Care anymore!

Hard for this old coot to put my I-pad in it easily, but with the wife's help, we managed to succeed. I don't see my device getting damaged in this Otterbox, unless it falls down screen-first on railroad spikes. Pretty solid protection, and worth the price.

The Otter Box Defender is basically indestructible. Keeps water out and has saved my screen twice already from drops. Use this product on my iPhone as well.

This item was suggested to us by the store clerk and was a great purchase. My 6 year old is the primary user of this device and this keeps it well protected.

Bought this for my daughter's new IPAD Air and she loves it! It provides the best protection from her 4 year dropping it on the floor over and over. Great product.

If you are over protective about your expensive IPad this is the case that will do it. I dropped, scratched and hit my IPad many times and still in good shape.

Awesome case that has a built in screen protector! The separate stand is pretty cool since I can use when I want and not have it always on the tablet!

I'm very satisfied with this case from Otterbox. It's actually a case that protects your iPad other than some of the smart covers which seem like they aren't much for protection. I also like how you can use the case to hold the iPad in a couple different ways and it has a built in screen protector. I would recommend this case for anyone that isn't concerned with making your iPad more bulky. If you want to keep the "air" feature of your iPad, this case isn't for you.

I feel our new iPad is very protected in this case and I feel confident that it could survive most accidents without it causing the device to be damaged.

I looked at many cases to protect my ipad. I felt the OtterBox - Defender Series Case was the best one for the money. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I got this for the kids tablet for the accidental drops and it's built in screen protector is a nice bonus! Works well and not to heavy or bulky.

Continues to be the choice to protect your electronic devices. This is my 6th different otterbox defender. 3 iPod touches, 2 iPads and 1 iPad mini.

As with my iphone otterbox cases, I am happy with the level of protection the case and screen cover provide for my ipad. It took me a little bit to figure out how to use the stand for differing heights and angles, but they work and it's nice to have the variety/options. The colors continue to be limited/too bright, but if it means protecting my investment, I will continue to bear it.
