This case is the only case I trust when I give my kids electronic devices. They have a great warranty and customer support system as well as can take a good beating.

The case provides nice protection and covers the screen. The stand/cover is a nice addition. It does make the screen a little less responsive and the lightning port is a little harder to access.

Great case but I had to drill a hole in the hard case for the camera to work with it on the back. Otter had no other options. But they said they will exchange if I break it even cut up.

The Otterbox Defender case for the iPad is wonderful. I use my iPad with elementary school students and this cover keeps my iPad safe from damage. It is heavy duty and protects the corners and especially the screen. It is not bulky and the cover snaps off and can be used as an easle to improve the viewing angle! I would highly recommend this case for those who will be using their iPad with children or in situations that increase the risk of damage.

Salesman assured me it would fit my iPad 2017. Mine is not an iPad Air. The case fit, but the volume buttons did not match since my iPad does not have a mute button. While the defender series is good, I have one on my iPad mini, I was disappointed that there was not one available for my new iPad. I had to buy a different brand. Your salesman should have known better! I understand that now one is available.

Cracked my I pad and otter box allows me to safely use it. Wish I had it before I cracked it.

Easy to use and good protection for accidental drops especially with a 10 year old.

Durable, perfect fitting case. Easy to operate pad functions through the screen. The screen came loose, so dust and crud worked its way through. It was not glued evenly nor aligned right. There was no problem with getting a replacement.

This product offers great device protection, and the hinged stand is quite handy! Having said that, the hinged stand is prone to breaks if not handles with care over time. I've had to replace mine twice in the past 2 yrs. That being said, I didn't have to pay for the replacement because it was covered under the 1yr manufacturers warranty!

when you have a toddler an OtterBox is necessary. My OtterBox has gone through every Rough and Tumble my toddler can do and my iPad is completely intact nothing has ever happened to it. OtterBox also has a great customer service so if you ever have an issue you just call them and they send out replacement parts or complete replacements great product great company best purchase I've made

I orignally had bout this for my Mini and eventhough it added to the wait and bulkiness of the device, it did not bother too much because the Mini still is very small and light. However, when I put it on the Air, I realized it overwrote the too maing qualities of the Air, weight and manageability. It made the the Air heavy and bulky. This product is great for protection, but not for mobility. Unless you are going in a "Survivor" mission.

Case is durable. Screen protector included so I thought price was reasonable.

I always had my smart phones in otter boxes. They are totally worth it. I was in a car wreck a few years back and my phone was on the passenger seat. The phone hit the dash board and then flew into the back window, bounced of it and then threw the fron window..never broke..it was still like new. I swear by the otter box..i will never buy another type of case for my phone, or now my ipad..

a bit bulky and heavy but i don't mind if it keeps my I Pad from breaking. Great case overall

Great value for great protection. Very durable and easy to use with the stand.

Purchased one of these case/covers for my iPad Air last year and through several drops and nasty bangs it has served me incredibly well. Compared to everything else I've seen on the market this was the best (although pricey) covers to buy. It has a hard inner plastic shell with a soft rubber outer protection. This is actually my second one as I liked it so much I bought one for my wife.

I bought three other products to protect/hold my ipad air, and took each back for being unsatisfactory in one way or another. Then I went ahead and spent a little more to buy an OtterBox. It is worth every cent that I paid, and then some. It provides excellent protection so I don't have to worry that it will get bumped and damaged in my purse, and it holds my ipad air at the perfect angle for viewing and typing.

It's a must when you have a 4 year old. Don't be fooled you still could crack the screen

You can never go wrong with an Otterbox for any table or phone, but this one is super sturdy and has survived both a girl and boy toddler in our house! I wish I could say the same for other devices that I tried with cheaper cases :( It is definitely worth a few extra dollars to guarantee your electronics investment is protected!!!
