It doesn't but I still use t occasionally because it offers the best protection there is.plus it has a kickstand with multiple angles.

But still protective for the iPad.

Great Protection, Flawed Screen Protector

The only problem with this case is the horrible screen protector. Newton rings are present and it can be quite distracting when your looking at the screen. Also dust and dirt gets trapped which also is distracting. But for the most part, it's a great case.

They are great especially if you have children who also enjoy playing with these gadgets. My iPAD has been dropped numerous times and no damage. To me the Otter box is the best protection plan you can buy. Otter box is a great investment.
