It was not the correct size for the iPad. I had to return it to the store. They didn't have any cases that would work with my ipad. I was also told that is wasn't available online.

We bought this to protect our iPad air, and it does it wonderfully! Also very easy to operate the iPad with the case on.

Bought this for an iPad I use at work. Have used it for 6 months and never had an issue. It protects the iPad well in a tough environment, but it is heavy. Seems to almost double the weight of the iPad

The product offers great protection, however, even though it states it is for the iPad I own, part of the case is not compatible with the volume buttons on the tablet. I will make it work as it is a gift, but if I had paid for this I would return it.

Works well - would probably have bought the Lifeproof if it had been cheaper!

I usually love Otterbox, and this case lived up to my high expectations. It has kept my iPad same for 8 months now. We did have a hiccup when I didn't place the hard shell on the case, and my iPad ended up under the leg of the couch. I imagine if I had been using both parts of the case at the time it would have been fine. Everything has been great since then. Though I do notice an occasional lack of responsiveness on the very edges of the screen.

I have used Otterbox case for many of my products. I recently bought two Apple new iPad (5th Generation iPad) for the kids. I buy this over the other because I don't want the kids to mess with the finger print reader, which this case has the hard button. The case fit perfect on the iPad and everything seem to line up nicely. But the volume up and down button don't line up with the case. I can only adjust the volume down with the volume up button. In order to adjust the volume up, you have to open the table or adjust through swipe up and left to adjust the volume. However, I still recommend this case for little kids over many other case.

My child is using a school supplied IPad Air and it came with an otter box. It has survived almost 2 years of middle school and it's still going just fine. In the backpack back and forth to school each day. No damage to the IPad. If I purchase a tablet in the future for my child I will buy an otter box too. I highly recommend this product for a child. Especially since we know the backpack does get tossed around.

This is a great case. I put it on the new 2017 ipad and it fits the only problem is the volune rockers dont match up the down button on the ipad is on the up button on the case and the up button on the ipad is in the volume turn off spot on the case. You can still adjust volume just not in the right places

I bought this for my wife and she absolutely loves it. It fits perfectly all around. Buttons are easy to push and access. Has a little bit of bulk, but not as much as other brands, though it still offers lots of protection. Screen protector lays very close to glass providing great touching surface. All in all great case and protection of device.

We have had many versions of otter box defenders in our household for a variety of items. They truly due make a difference. If you are letting your kids use your iPad I would highly recommend this.
