I bought this for my husbands work iPad. He's a salesman so he's always outside and at shops. This was a good option instead of a bare iPad susceptible to being dropped on concrete. We use Otterbox for our home iPads so it made sense we treated a work iPad with the same protection.

It is one of the best protection for iPad for outdoor use such as construction site. It takes few minutes to install it but us worth it. Though little pricey.

Opted for this one for my 6 year-old's iPad Air after having success with the one we had for the iPad Mini 2 years ago. Great product to protect the investment from the trials of a little one while at the same time allowing for the great functionality of the device. This one is actually quite a bit thinner and lighter than the one for the iPad Mini. Will still add bulk, however, but that's part of the point of this case.

Great case with screen cover. Little time to figure out how to put it on iPad but with tutorial from the internet it went great. Around the house just leave the top off but put it on when traveling. Case makes me feel that this expensive iPad is protected so is worth the extra weight.

My daughter received an iPad for school and we decided we needed to buy a case to protect it. We have one on our iPad at home. The plastic case is still protecting it but the rubber casing is shot. It still does the job. I need to buy three more cases for next school year.

Ipads are expensive. Don't let a careless spill or drop ruin your investment. We have a small child that likes to bang on it and throw it around and we never have to worry.

I bought the Otter Box when I replaced my iPad Air. The screen shattered when it fell off a counter face down onto a ceramic tile floor. I had the iPad in a Roo Case (which I liked for its slim profile & the origami kickstand), but the cover was open when it fell, and the case didn't wrap far enough around the corners. Fortunately I had insurance. This time around I wanted more robust protection, and the Otter Box is it! I don't have the slim profile of the iPad Air anymore, but I've traded that for a feeling of security -- a fair trade IMHO. The lid serves as a versatile stand that I like even better than the origami design.

I've had so many OtterBox cases, for so many different devices, I feel very qualified to review their products. This particular case is maybe the best I have owned, regardless of the device. The best part, in my opinion, is the hard shell/stand. It allows you to use your ipad in landscape or portrait position AND it protects your screen completely. The only negative about the Defender series for the Air is there is not enough colors. I've only seen 3: Black, Grey/White and a kind of Pinkish color.

Easy to attach to my IPAD, Love the stand for watching TV or videos. Great all around case for daily use and provides extra protection when I'm traveling

I bought this because of the name recognition and it is a little more expensive than a few others I looked at, however I am glad I purchased it. My Ipad has been saved more than a few times. coffee spill and a few drops and this did the job it is a great protector

Great protection. Bulky, heavy, doesn't look great, but it does provide optimum protection. Access to charging or audio inputs is really difficult. Makes sense if you are trying to protect your device from extreme situations. Not good for everyday use.

After dropping my iPad on tile and shattering the screen, I was desperately trying to find a durable case once I fixed the screen. This Otterbox case was an answer to my problems. Super durable and easy to use the iPad while in the case. Great price point as well.

The best and most protective case I’ve ever had for an iPad I have had to fix the glass on it twice already but not with this case the defenders the best case you can buy as far as protection Best Buy match the price and I am very happy

I love this product - it is a fun color - it makes my iPad Air easy to find because it is a hot pink and it is a great way to protect my investment! You need to get one of these, if you have an iPad!

I bought this case for my 9yr olds IPad and let me tell you, she has dropped it soooooo many times that I am surprised that the screen hasn't cracked yet. I guess this case really works. I most definitely recommend this case. Oh and she loves this color.

BOUGHT THIS OTTERBOX FOR MY WIFES IPAD. IT HAD SAVED THE DAY MORE THAN ONCE WHEN GRANDDAUGHTER KNOCKED IPAD OFF THE TABLE PLAYING WITH IT. WORKS AS WELL AS I HAD HOPED AND BETTER. WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO WANTS GREAT PROTECTION FOR THEIR IPAD.

We purchased one for out 8 year old when he received his and no problems with it so when we got another iPad there was no question if we would be satisfied or not and if it would be durable because he his is still in perfect condition along with his iPad

I bought a different brand before and the protective screen was not straight, the view was horrible. The OtterBox does not have this problem, it's excellent and it protects the iPAD tremendously.
