While pricey and a bit bulky, there are few cases that offer the same protection. This is a great case for young kids and protects very well against drops. It also protects the screen from scratches and any smudges are easily cleaned. The stand feature is also very useful, especially given the size of the iPad. Very straightforward install, done in about five minutes.

The OtterBox Defender Series case for the new iPad is a fortress!! It is bulky and getting the case ready to insert the iPad is a little bit of work. However, once the iPad is in there it sure does feel like it's well protected. I recommend this case if you have children or are just an absolute clutz! To me it adds to much weight and size to the iPad.

Case fits great and makes my iPad feel protected. Only 2 weeks in so no major cons yet. Charger port is a pain to access, but tight fitting is part of protection.

We purchased this for our new Ipad. This case safely keeps our new Ipad covered just like it covers our Iphones. It is very rugged and sturdy. Having it on our new Ipad gives me a peace of mind that it is protected. This case has a clear film for the screen and the case itself wraps securely around the entire Ipad. There is also a removable cover that you can place over the screen or left on the back for extra protection. We love this product and highly recommend it.

No worries about damaging my new iPad with this rugged case. It is bulky and it is heavier than other cases. But I have had otter box products in the past and no issues with any defects. When picking a case, remember most don't protect the corners or screen. This case protects it all. It's not a glamorous case but it protects my investment just fine.

I shopped online for the best deal on a protective case for my iPad which included a built in screen protector. Best Buy had the lowest price by far, and was half the price that was being charged on the OtterBox website. It's very sturdy, and the screen protector cleans off easily. Other than making the iPad a bit heavy to hold, it's perfect.

My kids dropped our iPad numerous times and the Otterbox protected it like it should. Very durable and easy to install. Love the stand as well! Only gripe is pulling the port open to where the charger is. Kind of gets in the way when trying to plug the charger in, otherwise a great protective investment for your iPad!

This case will protect your iPad from just about every bump and drop. However, with the desired protection comes the weight to protect it. Your iPad will feel 3X as heavy with the case, but as I said, any anxiety of dropping the iPad will be null and void.

Bought this to prevent damage. So far I like it. No issues and the other part of the case makes a stand.

It protects well but it’s a bit bulky and ugly. The outside of the case could have some pretty design or coloring. I don’t know how to spiffy it up to make it appear to have some style. It will definitely protect the iPad so I’m giving it a good review.

Great product if your children are going to use your iPad. A bit bulky, but not uncomfortable.

This case is fantastic, especially if you have children or just clumsy. I don’t have to worry about damaging my device and I like the multiple angles that you can use your iPad. It does add some bulk and weight but that’s a fair trade off.

Not only does it protect your iPad, it also has a stand that has two levels for comfort.
