After a number of shattered devices, I instituted a rule in my house: your mobile device will have a Defended Series OtterBox or you will pay for your own device and it's associated bill. Needless to say, the whole family uses them. Can't say enough good things about the product.

The OtterBox for the iPad mini is absolutely awesome we got an iPad mini for my six-year-old absolutely loves it but we knew we was going to drop it at some point so we decided we needed some protection since then he has dropped in the OtterBox is protective it just flawlessly

The case has good form and feels like the iPad is fully protected in it including the screen which has a protective film built in to the case. The snap on cover add an extra laver of protection when not in use and it doubles as a stand. The case does feel a little heavy as it's a three layer case with the snap on cover.

Ordered this case online during Deal of the Day and picked up in the store. Everything went smoothly. Case is perfect for my iPad. It has taken falls and bumps without any harm. Excellent choice. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to protect their iPad.

Have the Otterbox Defender for my Samsung S4. Really like the protective design and integrated screen protection. Was pleasantly surprised to find that Otterbox also offered a Defender model for the iPad mini. I like the built in stand, a feature I wish was available on the S4 Defender.

It does add some bulk but this case is amazing. I feel very secure that my iPad is safe and the built in stand to prop it up is a great feature.

The case seems to keep my Ipad mini very secure. The fact that you can use the case's hard cover as a stand was also a big plus. The only negative is that the case is a bit bulky.

Very sturdy. Bought for our 2 young boys to protect their iPad and it has done a great job so far. Otterbox has protected my iPhones since I've had them, so I figured they do the same for the iPad.

I've managed to leave this with my iPad in it on my bumber twice and slammed the trunk on it with 0 damage. This is an extremely sturdy case. The front plastic has scratched which is kind of annoying and I do wish it was water proof but in all I would buy again.

Super protection...stand to hold it in 2 positions. Really easy to use and it can cover the screen for transport

I brought this for my 6 year old granddaughter, she has dropped her I pad mini a couple of times and due to the protection from the otter box all is good , best product I ever purchased

It's actually my wife's iPad, but I see her use it every day. The two piece design is actually a great feature, and I really would like to have one of these myself. Highly recommend it.

I bought this case when I purchased a new I-Pad mini about a month ago and I am very happy with it! It is sturdy as well as being very practical. My son occasionally uses the I-Pad and I feel confident that there is nothing to be concerned with as far as being dropped or knocked on that could damage it. Does exactly what I expected it to do!

This is a good protective case. Your screen is covered - which is lacking in the Lifeproof brand. It's solid and has a plate to cover the front with a built in stand. I love it. If it were only waterproof - we would have a 100% winner. Not because I plan on taking it diving but because - I'm me. I leave it on the counter when I shower - exposing it to steam or heaven forbid - a drop in the abyss. I take it outside where anything can happen. To get all stars if have to see waterproof and maybe a small price drop. It's a good case but making it waterproof - that would make it excellent!

My kids have these on their ipads.............. I don't know what I would do without this kind of protection. I don't like the cap that comes with it....tends to get lost alot

I purchased this to go on my son's new iPad Mini. I swear by my Otterbox on my iPhone so getting this for his iPad was a no brainer. I have no worries that there will be any damage to the tablet. The hard case is great for protection an the stand is a plus. Without the hard shell the case is similar to the Otterbox Commuter series so it's not too bulky, but still very well protected.

I'm so happy I bought this iPad mini cover now I don't have to worry that my son will drop his ipad and crack the screen like he did with his first ipad.

I have one on my phone and tablet. I wish they made one for my IPod nano 7G! I've used them for years. If you want superior protection get an Otter box!

I love using the otter box to protect my iPad Mini. I shattered the screen on an iPad 2. Since then it has been otter box protection for my apple gadgets.

Have smaller version for iPhone 5s, protects great so I wanted it also for the Mini. It preforms great to protect my product from accidental drops.
