This case feels heavy duty in your hand and also makes me feel like I have a better grip of the phone in general. I have bigger hands so I feel like I would be less likely to drop it. This case covers 99% of the phone including all the ports. It is well worth the money.

I have been waiting for a navy and silver/grey one for a while! its my school colors and its awesome! i love otterbox's defender series... they might be bulkier than a lifeproof, but the sound quality is MUCH better and u dont need a special connector for headphones!

I've had the case for almost 2 months so far no issues. I dropped my phone a couple of times without any damage.

I have been using OtterBox cases on my mobile devices for years, and it was a no-brainer when my wife upgraded to iPhone 5 that she would be using this case. Extremely durable, stands up to falls and spills, and if something does happen to the case, OtterBox will replace it (the case, not the device). I will continue to use OtterBox cases.

Bought this case for my wife for her iPhone 5. She dropped the phone on cement floor face-down and the case absorbed the fall with not a single scratch to the phone. Love the protection this case offers. Have bought 2 cases for different phones as they are sturdy and reliable.

This is a good case for iPhone 5S which maintains the use of fingerprint sensor. It has a cut out hole at the place of touch sensor. I am not sure if it is water proof as the speaker ports on bottom of phone are open.

Great for piece of mind, coil be thinner like boxes of life, only thin is they didn't have but 2 style options to choose from. Real tree baby!

I have the Otterbox Defender for the Galaxy Note 4. The phone was dropped from about 3-4 feet off the ground while just holding it. The LCD has cracked, touch screen doesn't work and the screen no longer lights up. On a separate but similar topic, the screen protector on the Defender still allows dust and lint to get through the opening the button used to turn the screen on. If we didn't have an additional albeit cheap screen protector on the phone the screen would also be very scratched. Needless to say, we will not be purchasing products from Otterbox again. The warranty that is offered is pointless to have if the phone ins't protected at all. Now that would be good customer service, to back up what your case should be protecting, Especially for the $65 we spent for the case to begin with, with the expectation that we wouldn't have to worry about the phone being damaged.

I've used the otter box before. I like its durability and appearance. Worth the money for the protection

This case is all about protecting my phone. Not my first one...love it. My last one I destroyed (In 5 pieces, 6 months)...can you imagine what my phone would have gone through without the Defender case??! Great product!

The otterbox is a great product and would highly recommend it. It has saved me from having to pay for repairs as I've already dropped my phone twice. One of the best investments I've made.

This case is very well designed and protects the phone incredibly well, but I need to replace it because it looks so nasty. The hard plastic shell is off-white, so it doesn't look great with the pure white phone. The pink outer case is pretty for about a day, then it starts to look really dirty, and it does not clean easily. I'm not rough with my phone and I don't drag it through dirt…the case just does not wear well. After putting it in my jeans pocket, all the edges turned blue (and these were jeans that had been washed many times). The case looked awful after only a week or so. If I get another OtterBox, it will be black or some other very dark color.

My husband bought this for his iPhone 5s because he works in construction and needed it to be protected. He's had it for about 3 months and hasn't had any problems with it.

This case is great because it can take a beating however, it comes with no directions and is at first difficult to figure out how to open and put on

I purchased this for my wife when she got her new iPhone 5. Provides great protection and was not as expensive as a Lifeproof. Better color selection also. Hope this helps!
