Bought this for my husband's phone. It is very protective without being too bulky. It also comes with a screen protector and belt clip. He is very happy with this case.

I have used an Otterbox Defender for two phones now, and I have loved them both. Neither of my phones has ever had a scratch on it, despite numerous drops onto steel and concrete. The belt clip is pretty nice, though you have to be careful not to snag it on anything; it’s not quite as sturdy as the case itself. They seem to have upgraded and reinforced this newer model though (my first Otterbox was for an iPhone 4s), and I haven’t had any problems with it breaking so far. Great product; highly recommended for all smartphone users.

This is my third otter box on my third different phone. The first one I had was on a moto rzr max and was so bulky I wouldn't use it. My second is on my company phone which is a Samsung S4 and was better than the first one but not as nice as this one. This one is not nearly as bulky as the others I've had. I was concerned that it wouldn't be as protective because it is so much thinner than the others but I dropped my phone out of my tree stand last weekend in the rain and the phone has no damage at all. I would definitely recommend this to others.

I had an Otterbox Defender case for my iPhone 5 and it protected my phone so well that when I replaced my iPhone 5, I purchased the Otterbox Defender case for my new iPhone. The case is not bulky; it is easy to take on and off but still provides excellent protection for the phone's screen. Since I carry my phone in my pocket even when working in the yard or garden, I have full confidence that this case will protect the phone and prevent damage.

This case offers great protection for iPhone 6 S. And it fits perfectly. Best case for the price.

I have an OtterBox case for my iPhone and I love it. But I'm pretty easy. My daughter got her first-ever phone for Christmas this year and I wasn't letting her use anything but an OtterBox for hers. She loves the pink color. It's a great protective case that gives Dad piece of mind. You adolescent might drive you nuts, but with this OtterBox case, you can regain at least part of your sanity.

I spent twice as much for a LifeProof Case at the AT&T store for my last phone and it didn't really protect the phone any better than this one does. I have easy access to the controls, the case slips in and out of my pocket without much trouble, and it's rugged. It's not waterproof, but neither was the LifeProof, despite its claims and higher price tag. Its an attractive, functional, well made case. I'd buy it again.

Like most Defender series cases, this one will add substantial bulk to your phone and that's something I like given the iPhone's incredibly slim design. I've only dropped and broken one phone in my history of owning smartphones and I've had every phone in a Defender since then -- just in case. There is a cover for every port on this phone but that doesn't make it waterproof. Mic, speaker, earpiece and camera lens are still exposed. I would even hesitate to call this splash-proof as it's not designed for that. Overall this is a great case and almost too good. It's difficult to remove your phone should you need to (in my case, when I go running and put it in an armband) but I'm not going to knock it for that as I knew I might have difficulty switching out when I needed to. Also, the screen cover is susceptible to dust when opened. Make sure it is completely cleaned before inserting your phone. There is a thin layer of protection for the Touch ID sensor and it works as if it was not there. Not disappointed my purchase, and Best Buy honored Amazon's online price of $25 in-store. Not too shabby.

Great protection for phone love the color choices and ease of use and size is great

The Otterbox defender series has always been my go to for all devices (as long as they make a case for the specific device) and my iphone 6s was no different. The case is great at protecting against short falls, bumps and dings, though I'm still leary about 5-6ft drops (just the person I am). The one thing that always knocks a star off the item review-wise for me is that the cases to this day are still way too bulky. Carrying my 6s around in an otterbox seriously makes people wonder if I'm carrying a brick around for the fun of it.

This is a very durable, strong case. Regrettably I have dropped my phone a few times while I have it set on a table and get up to do something, forgetting the headphone is still in, pulling it to the ground. As of yet however I do not see any damage. I don't have any issues with the fingerprint reader, or access to the charger or headphone areas. Ultimately I feel my phone is adequately protected and will hopefully be safe for the life of the phone. The only two negatives I would mention is first, the first case I bought actually had a scratch so I had to return and get another one. Thankfully I was in the store getting the phone activated so I noticed while there. That being said I imagine this was just a rare issue as I have only used otterbox cases on phones for years and never encountered that before. The second issue, I think through either the camera or the speaker slot some dust or something along those lines still gets in the phone. Though not too difficult to get off, I am not desirous of taking it off to wipe of the case. Honestly it's hardly noticeable, but I do not some people who are much more obsessive about small details like that, so I thought I would mention it. Great case overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase. Plus I like the colors!

Superb protection that is not too bulky. Easy to put on.

I had an Otter box on my old phone for 2 years, when I finally took it off the phone looked like I had just taken it out of the box for the first time, brand-new looking. I wanted the same level of protection on my new phone, this case was easy to put on and use, and so far has kept my phone very safe. I also like the color options.

I'm outside a lot. I was concerned that it was just a matter of time before my new phone fell out of a jacket pocket or I dropped it when I had gloves on. The OtterBox gave considerably more grip to the phone without adding much size. It still fits a shirt pocket. Also, I'm less concerned about damage if I were to drop it.

Purchased this to protect my iPhone 6S when working outside. Fit perfect and I am very pleased with the protection it offers the phone. It does add some bulk to the phone, so it is not really comfortable to carry in the pocket. However, the clip that comes with the case makes that a non issue.

Needed the extra protection cuz I have 8 grandchildren under the age of 6 and they all try to grab my phone. Needless to say it is almost always dropped, but with this cover I don't have to worry - it takes a beating but still continues working. Plus the bright color makes it easier to find in my purse!

The Best Buy associate put this on my phone for me. It's not too bulky and fits firmly into its clip for your belt. I've actually dropped the phone once and no damage what-so-ever. I've had no problems with it and would recommend anyone wanting solid protection with a belt clip for their iphone.

Fits my new IPhone 6 perfectly. The gray color looks very classy with the phone, which is gold. Last OtterBox case I got, for my 5C stretched out almost immediately and this one seems to fit better and be holding its shape better from the start. Also has nice texturing that is comfortable to grip.

The defender is an excellent means of protecting my phone. I am outdoors frequently working in harsh conditions. Not only does the defender protect the phone from the elements but also protects it from scratches etc. The belt clip is sturdy and rugged which was essential for my work conditions.

I did research on this product before I bought this case, plus I have owned other OtterBox cases before, simply you can not beat this case. It is not that bulky and has protected my phone so far from drops and heavy use. Great product plus it was on sale for less.
