i have been using Otterbox Defender cases for all my iPhones. I kept my iPhone 4 and 5 for 2 years each and both were in brand new condition when I upgraded. Now with the 6 it is equally tough. The only difference this time is the volume buttons are very stiff and more difficult to use. That is the only flaw. Otherwise it is a great case protecting the phone from drops and moderate abuse. Does not protect from water so if that is a requirement then you will need to find a different case. (Note: my son had a Lifeproof case and his iPhone was ruined as water still got into that case. Moral of the story is don't depend on any case to protect against water). Otterbox is solid protection against impacts and drops only.

Another great case for the iPhone. It provides the protection that I want while not making it seem like I am carrying a padded box. It is very thin and light and fits perfectly.

This is my second Otter Defender case, first one was for an Iphone 4s. I do construction work and need something that can withstand bumps and drops. First day after putting this case on, I was working inside an elevator shaft and dropped it. It bounced around a few times and luckily landed one floor down on the door frame. A few little scuffs on the case but the phone still works great. Only thing I don't like is the button you use to go back to the home screen or for finger print ID. When I first put the case on I thought this was a piece of plastic you're supposed to remove but it didn't come off. It's hard to read my finger print some times when signing in to the phone. Over all it's a good case and if I could I'd give it a 4.5

Stellar case—truly creates a new experience for the user. The feeling of confidence and security this case delivers provides freedom from the fear of damaging your $750 iPhone 6. The case does add some weight and bulk—not going to lie. But it feels so solid in hand it is easily forgiven. You cannot go wrong with this case. The quality is superior and doesn't show signs of usage. The built in screen protector may not sit flush against the screen but does its job. Buttons may be stiff at first but after a few days you get used to it. Definitely check this case out if you're looking for maximum protection and a great case.

Case is very well designed and constructed and was easy to install. It protects the phone completely without adding much bulk. I do think the price was about 20% high, but I don't think any phone case is worth $50.

I was skeptical of buying this because the Otter Boxes are so bulky, but Otter Box did it right with this one. Sleek design. Easy to use. Fits in the pocket. Good job Otter Box!

We used Otterbox Defender cases for iPhone 5. The Otterbox Defender for iPhone 6 is much sleeker and still provides confidence that the phone is protected from almost any normal damaging situation (except if it falls into water). The case feels much more contoured to the iPhone 6 and made of a stiffer plastic, which will keep its shape over time. The tabs that open for access to the phone ports feel more secure and less likely to break off with usage. The coverage of the home button with a thin layer of plastic seems to interfere with the fingerprint sensing process at times. Overall a good protective case.

i can't begin to tell you how many times my iphone has fallen out of my pocket onto my ceramic tile & hardwood floors. If it had not been for the Otterbox defender, my screen & phone would have been a goner. It bugs me when i see people without a otterbox on their phones. They say they don't like the "bulky" feel. Then I tell them, I guess they have plenty of money to buy a new phone. Why would you not want protection? I have used Otterbox defender for years & am very satisfied & refuse to use any other case. It's worth the peace of mind, knowing my iphone is safe & sound if I accidentally drop it.

Is a good protective case. Slimmer than the older style. Bright pretty color. Difficult to take on and off. I had to cut the film over my home button as the phone wasn't reading my thumbprint.

I broke my Iphone screen and had it replaced for 150 dollars, the man who replaced it said the screen was uneven and any drop would make the screen break again. I got scared and saw this case was on sale and got it as protection, I've had some very bad drops screen first since then and thanks to this case no damage has been done to my phone, if only I had gotten it before I needed a new screen, it would have saved me 135 dollars. I really recommend it.

Bought an iPhone 6s a couple of months ago and thought about trying a new case. My last OtterBox case held up pretty good from all the drops but I told the sales rep how the screen protector started to peel and bubble after a few weeks. He suggested the defender series that had a built in thin screen protector. Works fine so far, still need to get used to it because sometimes the phone doesn't respond to your touch, maybe because the screen film is thicker. But if you like a sturdy, strong feeling and durable case, that's still slim, this one is for you.

Bought this for daughter. She drops phone often and cracked both front and back of last phone. Although husband dropping it on it's corner was what ultimately killed last phone. Got daughter new phone & bought this case. Seems to be working. Love the protection it seems to offer & she loves the color. Unfortunately that much protection makes the phone very bulky & girls' clothing usually has pockets that are narrow, not very deep or non-existent. So it doesn't fit well in her pockets, is often tucked into her waistband or hand held - all of which lead to more opportunities for dropping. So its a catch 22. Which is why I took off one star.

I purchased my case from a major retailer in December before I even upgraded my phone. When I installed it, I immediately noticed that this case did not perform as seamless as the many previous Otterbox cases I have owned. The screen protector did not sit flush against the glass making it hard to use. No big deal. I reached out to Otterbox and they offered to replace the case under warranty. When I removed the case from my phone, I noticed that the case left a white hazy permanent mark on the phone of my brand new iPhone 6 screen. Yes, permanent, it will not come off. After doing a quick search online, I learned that I wasn't the only one with the issue and that Otterbox was not assuming responsibility for their negligence. I feel lucky that my phone is not as damaged as bad as some of the other folks affected by it. I reached out to Otterbox and all they kept repeating - "we will replace the case but we will not do anything to fix the fact that our product permanently damaged your phone because it is not our product". They kept hiding behind their "Limited Warranty". As a loyal customer, I am very unsettled and appalled with the fact that what I thought was a reputable company is not standing behind their unintended mistake with integrity. I will never buy anything from this vendor again. Phone cases (especially the ones that tote to be the most protection) are supposed to protect you phone, not damage it. After this, I would definitely not recommend this product or this company to anyone.

This is fourth Otterbox. Get one every time I get a new iPhone or iPad. Got my first included with my first iPad as part of the deal. After few months, left iPad on roof of car. It slid off and hit pavement hard enough to crack outer plastic shell. Opened it up, powered up iPad, and it worked without hesitation. Even though I just asked for the new hard outer shell, Otterbox sent me a complete replacement. Quality and excellent customer service. I intend to keep getting the defender series as long as they make 'em for all my devices!

A really great phone case and it lives up to what OtterBox says it can protect my phone from, but there are some problems I am experiencing, there's a gap between the built in screen protector and the actual screen I have to press harder to actually touch the screen along with another gap at the bottom where the speaker and the charging port is I've watched every video possible on how to put on the case correctly and asked friends who have the same case as me to put it on for me but even with their help I still have the problem at the bottom. Despite those two problems it's still a great case.

My dad uses this case because he liked the RealTree design, also because it is orange and he can find it. He has dropped his phone a couple of times while outside working and it SURVIVED! When he first purchased his phone prior to me getting him this case, he dropped his phone on the corner and cracked the screen. Now he is protected. He even said he likes the way the case keeps the phone from sliding around as well.

Although this case adds considerable bulk to the demure dimensions of the IPhone 6 it is by far the best protection from disaster if you are outdoorsy! On the go whether gardening, working or hiking the Otterbox Defender protects against shock and splashes -- Not immersable as the Lifeproof but works great in all weather scenario outside and is easier to locate in darker areas or times with the bright orange accents. I like the camo as it doesn't show dirt. OtterBox stands buy their products too so great warrantee.

I am so excited about this case! It fits perfectly, does not leave any gaps or anything on the phone. I also like that Otterbox changed the case a little bit, with the iPhone 5s case they left the home button exposed which let little dust particles find their way into the case. This time they have that part covered and that was huge! I feel so safe with this case on my phone, I have already dropped it and I know it is always going to be protected. I have always trusted Otterbox and will continue to do so!

Case does a nice job of protecting iphone6. It's a little bulky but its not a small phone either! Nice less expensive option to the Lifeproof cases.

If you've still not used an otterbox to protect your phone/tablet, i don't know what you're waiting for. This case fits perfectly. If you're new to using an otterbox you may find it a little tricky when you take off the case. don't push against the plastic that goes over the screen because that will warp it and possible loosen the adhesive used to adhere the screen protector to the rest of the case. And please be mindful you still shouldn't have your phone near water.
