I had an Otterbox defender on my iPhone 5 from the day I bought it. I had that phone for 3 years, and though it suffered many rough falls out on the construction site, it came out looking brand new when it was time to trade it in for my iPhone 6 Plus. I love these cases, and they have not failed me yet. It does make your phone a little more bulky, but that doesn't bother me because I don't need to worry about cracking my screen or denting the body of the phone

On very iPhone I've owned I've use an Otterbox Defender. On my 4s I use to buy those cute covers until I dropped it & it chipped my screen after that I purchased a Otterbox Defender. Then I got my 5s. I did buy a LifeProof for my 5s because it was waterproof & the salesperson said it would protect my phone if I dropped it. Well I had it 29 days & dropped it once on a basement floor & the case broke (phone was ok) so much for waterproof. I returned the LifeProof & I have stuck with OtterBox defender ever since. I'm not as happy with the screen piece on the case is not a tight fit & it doesn't let me enjoy the easy touch screen of the iPhone. It doesn't read my fingers touching the screen unless I press harder on the screen. That's the only complaint I have. Because when it comes to protecting my iPhone it's a tank even on basement floors. That's why I put up with the screen problem it protects my expensive investment.

This case will protect you iphone from the hazards of everyday life and in my case, clumsiness. I put my phone throught he ringer, its often dropped and experiences harses than normal conditions. The Otterbox Defender case has literally saved my phone numerous times. Yes, its a bit larger than some. Otterbox has a commuter series that is thinner and just a bit less protective. The Defender comes with a clip and although I rarely use it I admit it's nice to have on some occasions. I also love how it protects your ports but is still easy to access them. Great case!

Bought my first one a few years back when I got my first iPhone. Since then I've purchased one other brand, used it for a while, was unimpressed... (Especially since it was twice the price) gave it to my son, and purchased another Defender. They are quite slim and light weight for the amount of protection they provide. I actually dropped my previous one into the cooling fan of a running car I was working on, although the case was ruined, my phone was unscathed and still worked fine. Well worth the money if you're a little rough on phones like me!!

I give the case four stars as it provides excellent protection but is somewhat bulky. The belt holster for the case is made of a brittle plastic that could break if it were caught on something .

After reading so many excellent reviews I decided to purchase the otterbox for my brand new IPhone 6Plus. I am so glad I did! I had my phone close to the sink to take a picture of a dish and it escaped from my hands and it fell on a sharped stake knife... I saw a small scratch on the screen and was hoping it didn’t go through the protection and scratched my iPhone. When I took the case off my phone, the screen was still brand new like nothing had happened. I definitely would recommend Otterbox!!!!

Our family has used defender cases for our past 4 iPhones to include the 6 and 6S plus. Simple assembly and instant protection. Over the past year there have been numerous drops with zero issue. The fingerprint reader does need to be cleaned inside once every few months for optimum performance. This is a great case for maximum protection minus being waterproof.

I bought this item for my daughter's iPhone 6s plus. Tight and secure fit. Looks great on her phone. Will purchase another for my husband.

You will absolutely not find anything better than the otter box defender case. If you're gonna invest so much money into your phone, it's a small investment to protect it with this case. Every iPhone I've owned since the 3GS have been covered with this case, and everyone of them when I traded in, the phone was as pristine as the day I bought it. I'm a contractor and believe me my phone has taken its share of tumbles. Buy this case for your phone or risk with cheaper cases some form of damage if dropped. My thoughts

this will and has protected my phone in every way i need and would not use anything else because its not to bulky and does the job.

Otter Box cases are normally super bulky but not this one! Amazing case especially when paired with a temp. Glass screen protector

I love Otterbox products and for the life of me I can't u fee stand why people buy these expensive phones and DON'T have them in a case (Otterbox or otherwise). As far as this case goes, I love the color but with it being so light the edges have started to look a little darky from being in my purse and me handling the phone with lotion on my hands. It's no bad, just noticble to me. My only other issue is that some kind of was moisture and sometime little particles get between the screen and the top layer of the case that covers the screen so you have to keep taking it apart to clean it. Over time (maybe a year or so) of doing this it seems like it loosens the rubber cover and the cover doesn't grip the case of the phone quite the same. All in all its still a very good case and I recommend it.

This is a heavy duty case that offers military grade protection. Bulky but effective if you plan to wear it on your belt.

Never had a problem with my phones once I put on the otterbox case. Bulky but it keeps your phone in pristine condition.

This model does give decent protection, but nothing special. While it does what it claims, it's not worth the steep price tag at $60. If you can catch it on sale at $30, I'd say that's a reasonable price point.

Best protection for iPhone 6 Plus but a bit bulky for front jeans pocket. I use my back pockets with no issues.
