However (separate) plastic cover over Home button prevents fingerprint scan. Internet solution is to remove the separate Home cover with Xacto knife. I returned case. Still Otterbox Defender great for protection though and recommended IF no fingerprint scan ok or remove Home plastic cover in case ok
