I previously had Lifeproof Fre on a iPhone 5s but after going through 3 in 4 yrs decided it was time to try something else. The otterbox defender was the right price and has not failed me yet the only negatives are the directions to install. Not very understandable on paper . Watched a YouTube video and it was easy. And makes the phone heavier

I looked st this and the sleeker Otter box versions. I decided on this one for the times my young grandson happens to get my phone. It has been dropped, chewed at, slid across the floor and touched with syrupy fingers---and with stood it all (and more)! The color is attractive and easy to spot; I am glad I chose this style. It is perfect for my life!!

I am constantly dropping my phone. This otter box has bailed me out repeatedly in the past, and when I bought my new iPhone 7 the other day, I made sure the phone was already in the otter box before leaving the store. Without the otter box, my phone would be broken in a week or two. With this otter box, it will probably never break from dropping it.

This case is great! It offers adequate protection and is not overly bulky (it was definitely more bulky than my thin case, but I think it's worth it) it is fairly easy to grip. I did not give it 5 stars because after about 1.5 months of using it, then corners are getting s little loose. The inside shell is also VERY difficult to disassemble (more so than my previous otterbox cases). Another problem I had is that the case doesn't fit well with a glass screen protector, so I simply removed the otterbox screen protector and it works just fine.

Protects iPhone, easy to use, if you drop phone, no big deal

This is a great case for the money. Nice color and lightweight.

The OtterBox defender series has proven itself time and time again. I have dropped it ran over it with my pick up truck without putting a scratch on my iPhone. I have the defender series on both my iPhone and both my iPads and would not go without it!!! If you're rough open your products and need a case to protect them OtterBox is the way to go!!!

Awesome case and color, fit my phone great and is durable.

While I normally buy the black case, it's great that Otterbox also makes the same case in various colors. Our family buys different colors, which makes it easier to tell the difference between our individual phones. Other than the blue rubberized shell, it includes the same three layers of protection (including screen protection) and a belt holster.
