Touch ID home button protector failed

Anytime my iPhone 8 Plus gets wet, water seeps through the home button hole and becomes trapped underneath the cases screen protector.

We apologize that the fingerprint film on that Defender series case got a little tired and worn out! Here at OtterBox, we're big on caffeine, and we like our products to stay awake and protective for as long as possible. Please feel welcome to call our coffee-loving Otters at 1-855-688-7269, and they'll gladly send you a new replacement case under the warranty!
For future reference, although the tough barriers on the Defender case may cause it to be naturally water resistant, OtterBox cases do not actually claim to be waterproof. We would not recommend submerging the case in any liquids in order to preserve maximum protection going forward!
