This is the my first iphone and wanted a proven product to protect my investment. This not only provides the protection of my iphone, it also has a belt clip so I don't have to carry it in my pocket. Best of all the Best Buy expert endorsed this product, he also installed it on my iphone for me. It fits like a glove and it looks great. The price was excellent and I am extremely happy with the product and Best Buy. I definitely endorse this product for quality, and value.

Got this case for my iPhone 5s. Phone fits perfectly in the case. Case has a very grip like texture around it to prevent it from falling out of your pocket or sliding around on a smooth surface!

This really protects the iPhone 5s. Provides excellent protection from most mishaps (like accidentally dropping which I have been known to do). It is pretty bulky, but that is the tradeoff for such a durable case.

The Defender Case is a solid basic phone case. It's a good value for the price since it comes with a belt clip. It's a little bulky but doesn't add toouch weight. The only con is the screen protector can get moisture underneath it so you have to dry it out. Otherwise this is a great case for the iPhone 5s.

My wife and I bought this new, specifically to protect as much as possible our hand-me-down iPhone 5's to our kids. This case is the toughest and thickest case I've ever seen, and works exactly as intended: thermonuclear children protection! Kidding aside, our kids drop their phones DAILY for weeks and weeks, but never the iPhone's get damaged due to the amazing thick sturdy construction of this case. The only drawback is you cannot buy this model without the belt clip, which of course our kids don't want and sit in a drawer. This review is for our other kids' different color case of this same model previously reviewed, but this is just cosmetics -- this color yes of course works exactly the same.

It does the job...a little bulky but very good protection. I watched the phone drop from my kids' pocket more than once and hit the pavement and the phones were fine. All 4 family members have the same one.

If you want to protect your phone, this is the case you want. It is a solid, well built case. This case has already saved the phone from breaking after a couple drops already. Well worth the money.

I bought this after checking reviews for covers for the iPhone. iPhones are too expensive to leave unprotected. This cover fits great and doesn’t interfere with phone operations.

I've had several Otter Box cases over the years and they've all been great for protecting the phone--no difference here. They last well, with the limiting factor being that the rubber cover eventually stretches too much to stay on. This case's cover actually seems a bit stiffer than the old ones, so maybe it will resist this longer than others I've had did. The major downside here that I haven't experienced before is that the screen always looks like it has oil on it. I think this is due to the new design of the cover to allow use of the fingerprint scanner on the iPhone 5S. My guess is the hole reduces stiffness and allow the cover to flex relative to the screen, leaving the oily appearance. Trust me, it's not dirty. You can move the smearing by sliding your thumb down the screen, but hopefully the next version will solve this problem altogether.

I bought this for my son, it has already offered great protection and saved the phone from damage. So thank you very much this works great! The only downside I see is that the plastic screen sticks to the phone screen and looks like there is oil in between you just have to get used to it though.

This is my second Otter Box Defender cell phone case for two different phones. It is a little bulky compared to other brands but provides excellent protection for the phone.

This is my second otter box. Had to replace it due to wear and tear. My son throws my phone across the room and it's still fine and intact.

All my family have bought otterbox cases for a while. So it's perfect for my iPhone protection and the color is real vibrant. This is probably one of the best cases.... love it...!!!!

I love this case!!! It is amazing & powerful! It protects your phone like no other! I have had OtterBoxs for all of my phones. I have this case & the defender case. The color is fun, too.

I had OtterBox case for my last phone. It outlasted my last phone of almost 5yr. I brought another one for new phone. I like to clip it on my belt for walking.

This is my second Otter Box case. It has saved my phone from many drops and spills although it's not completely waterproof. The reason I had to buy a new one was because of the plastic cover over the phone screen scratches over time and it gets hard to see clearly though.

I have had Otter Boxes for every iphone I have had. My daughters have dropped them numerous times and I have never had a problem

This is my all time favorite case for an iphone (or any other phone for that matter). It gives excellent protection and looks great too! It is also easy to install on the iphone.

Bought this case for my wife (mother of 3 and a teacher) b/c her phone is always being used by the kids or will occasionally get dropped - works great and have not heard any complaints from her. I've seen her drop her phone on the concrete while trying to get kids in/out of car seats and the phone does not have a scratch on it. She had the same case on her 4S and it got stretched out at the bottom and started looking bad after a year or so.....not so with this newer case for the 5S. The materials seem higher quality and more resilient. Overall great iPhone case for anyone with kids or that is prone to dropping their phone.

Fits like a glove. Perfect against any dirt or abrasions. I just use the casing without the holster. I really like this defender series otter box phone case. Great buy!!!!
