I bought this to protect my screen that is cracked. I had dropped my phone without a case and it cracked the screen so this case is protecting the glass from falling out until I get glass replaced. The case is a little bulky but the purpose is to protect your phone.

I have been using OtterBox cases for my families' ipods and iphones for years. This case was for my son's iPhone. I've dropped iPods and phones more times than I like but they always survive the drop when wrapped in the OtterBox Defender or Commuter. Other cases are simply not an option. We never use the belt clip/holster though because they are WAY too big and bulky. We also rip the front screen protector out of the OtterBox case because we protect our screens with Zagg InvisibleShields.

Provides excellent protection at the cost of additional weight and size. I carry my phone with the belt clip and this case has prevented damage when it has gotten knocked loose or been bumped.

Color looks great and case fits perfectly on iPhone 5s. Great access to home button and doing a great job so far of keeping the elements away from the phone.

The case provides great protection and does not limit any functions of the phone. What I like most is that it does not add a considerable amount of weight, nor does it appear to be bulky in the least. I have tried several cases and the size and durability cannot be matched. I have not had any issues with the functionality of the phone being limited by any aspect of the case. Overall, a great purchase!

This protects my phone like no other, except against water. You might be screwed there. You should look into life shield for that. Otherwise, its awesome! Enjoy

I always stray from Otterbox when I get a new phone, but end up finding my way back eventually. They are overpriced but typically hold up longer than the cheap cases and work better. Eventually all cases will be torn up, but Otterbox claims it can be sent back to them and replaced. The average person won't go through the hassle of doing this, but I have in the past and was able to get a new one sent to me. Overall, great case and I will end up buying Otterbox until something better comes along. (Lifeproof cases are not better in my opinion. Even more money, awkwardly shaped, terrible screen cover and not always waterproof as they claim.)

this is my 2nd, Otter box, I think it does a great job of protecting the phone. Pretty decent color, but wish there were even more colors to choose from. One downside is after moving it a few times, it stretches out and won't shrink back into place.

I've put an Otterbox case on every new phone I've owned as well as my kids and husband had. I even bought one for my iPad ... I drop everything ! And this case works!! I only had one break and that was when I was messing around and accidentally launched my phone down the street , after landing on the asphalt and sliding , face down!!! I ran and picked it up and there was a crack on the side of my case but the phone was perfect ! Since that cover was already 2 years old and been dropped many times I figured it did its job and I got another one ....I will always buy Otterbox .

This is an excellent case for phone protection and has saved the day the multiple times I've dropped it. A bit bulky, but not bad for the quality.

This cover was purchased for my teenager and her new Iphone. It's difficult to put on and to take off, but since we don't do that everyday it was something we could live with. It's not easy to plug the power cord into it to plug to phone in to charge it, but again nothing too bad, we could live with it. Although there are a lot of "live withes" on this product at the end of the day it does it's job "protect the phone". I feel very comfortable with her using her phone & don't have to constantly say "be careful don't drop your phone".

These are just the best case on the market. Fit is great it keeps the phone clean and safe. I have dropped it a few times and no problems.

This is a great case. Offers the most protection of any I've used, and at a great price from Best Buy. I will use nothing else on my phone.

My wife and I bought this new, specifically to protect as much as possible our hand-me-down iPhone 5's to our kids. This case is the toughest and thickest case I've ever seen, and works exactly as intended: thermonuclear children protection! Kidding aside, our kids drop their phones DAILY for weeks and weeks, but never get damaged due to the amazing thick sturdy construction of this case. The only drawback is you cannot buy this model without the belt clip, which of course our kids don't want and sit in a drawer.

Very durable. Fair price easy to insert phone. You can charge phone while in the case. Case does not effect volume.

I bought new I phone and wanted something to cover it and protect and colorful and perfect fit.

My Otterbox saved the day on several occasions -- the most recent of which was when the TSA agent at the airport unceremoniously flipped the bin and sent my phone crashing to the floor. The screen was fine, the phone was fine and I went on my merry way. I don't especially care for how easily the protective screen cover on the Otterbox scratches but it beats breaking the screen itself. It's a little bulkier than I would like, but I'll take that over a broken phone any day.

Does a great job at protecting the phone. Its a bit bulky as are all Otterbox Defender cases(no surprise there).

Like always..the otter-box defender series is amazing..love the color..love the protection from water, dirt and the little kiddos..

I previously had problems with the commuter version of the otter box line, and decided to upgrade my protection instead of paying for shipping a lot on times to keep getting replacements. This case definitely provides wonderful protection (so far, I haven't had it for too long...). The only thing I don't like about it is that the little flaps to access the input points on the phone are very hard to open. They have gotten a little easier to open through much use, but it has taken quite some time.
