This is my 2nd Otterbox Defender. I had to replace the first one because the covers for the access ports wore out and tore off from opening/closing them to charge, insert headphone jack, etc. However, it is a great case! My phone was run over on a busy street after falling off the tailgate of my truck and sustained ZERO damage. I wiped the tire track marks off the phone and it was good as new! You can't ask for better protection! My only complaint about the new design of the iphone 5S case is that they have replaced the rubber cover for the home button cover with only the clear screen protector. This will allow condensation, moisture, sand, etc to get between the screen protector and the glass. Other than that, I have no complaints.

I love this phone case! I've used phone cases by Speck for years but my last one cracked within a year. I have honestly never dropped my phone so it's disappointing that it broke. Otterbox is much stronger and better-built than other cases I've looked at. I'm definitely sticking with Otterbox cases from now on

Case offers good protection for phone at the expense of a slightly bulky case. Does not slip in and out of pocket easily. The holster that clips on your belt digs into your side when sitting.

Works as advertised. The only thing they could improve is the documentation. It wasn't obvious how to get my phone in the box. The customer service provided excellent walkthrough support.

Fits iPhone SE well; screen "cover" keeping scratches/dirt off and recognizes finger touches with no problem

I have used Otterbox for years and have not had an issue of breakage with my phones. I would like to attribute that to the case. I bought this case for my son to make sure we could say the same for him!

I have used this style for years ... I am rough on the cases doing outdoor work and over time the plastic breaks and I need to replace. This is more than normal wear and tear and I am pleased with how long they do last. I recommend this style case if you need to protect your phone...I've never had a cracked screen and dropped it many a time. This case will help me hang on to my phone and save the money on purchasing a new phone.

I've already broken my screen and had water damage on my phone. I can't belive I hadn't purchased this sooner.

I had one of these cases for my iPhone 4S and it performed brilliantly. It was installed on my phone the day I got it. One night I dropped my phone face down in a shallow puddle outside my house and didn't discover it until the next day. The phone worked flawlessly and there was no damage or water incursion. I would not recommend doing this, but wow, I was so glad to see how well it protected my phone. When I went to sell my phone and took it out of the case it was pristine. Worth every $ and then some. The only downside is that it makes this sexy phone about 2x the thickness it really is and hides all the gorgeous design. But it is well worth it because I don't use this as a fashion accessory but as a working tool.

This is my third OtterBox case. I stick with them because to me they are the best and offer the best value. Rugged, perfect fit, and long lasting. I have dropped my phone from as high as 5 feet with no problem. I drove 5 miles with the phone on my sunroof and it stayed there because of the rugged rough case. The only time I have had to buy a new case is when I buy a new model phone. And I will continue to do so!
