I had the OtterBox Defender for my iPhone 3GS, and it lasted me more than three years until I finally upgraded to a 5S. I will say I'm hesitant to demonstrate it's great protections by throwing it around with family like I did with my 3GS, but that's just because the 5S has the thumbprint sensor AND the screen's bigger than the 3GS, and I'm afraid the screen's more susceptible to damage. That's my unqualified fear/opinion, though. I also don't care for the price (who does?), and I wish they included instructions to care for it (it can get linty and such, I just use Q-tips or nail files to get into the tight spaces.

I purchased this for my daughters phone and it has already saved it 3 times from destruction. She tends to drop things a lot and her past iPhone just had a regular case on it which ended up with a cracked screen. Thanks to the Otter Box case so far all drops have just ended up scratching the Otter Box itself and the iPhone is still in perfect shape!! A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

This case is very durable. I haven't had another case satisfy me as much as this one has. I enjoy using it. It is stylish, and protective and that's all I could ask for. Some have style but lack protection and some have protection but lack style, this one has both. Once in a while you have to take the case off and clean the edges of your phone because debris gets I between the case and your phone but it is super easy to clean.

Love this case for my iPhone 5s easy to put on and get off and the phone is very protected!!!

My first smart phone had to have a good case. My research lead me to the Otterbox. The case fits the phone better than expected. The one negative was the belt clip on the holster broke after three weeks (my fault). I caught the phone getting into a car while on vacation. However that small issue was outweighed by the excellent customer service people at Otterbox, that sent me a new holster after completing the warranty form.

This is my second Defender Series OtterBox case. The first one was two years old and had been dropped who knows how many times and protected my phone great! The only reason I got a new one was because I noticed a hairline crack in the frame on the front of the case and I got paranoid about how much longer it would last. It fits in my pocket nicely and it's comfortable to hold while talking. Love it!

Purchased my otterbox on line. The product arrived on time. It was easy to install and provides good protection for the device. Definitely recommend.

I’m writing this review a fu two years after purchasing this case and it’s still on my phone. The only minor complaint I have is cleaning the phone and case is a little tedious. Other than that this is the premier phone case on the market. I’ve dropped my phone a few times and it’s never even gotten a scratch. Top quality item and definitely worth the price.

I love this OtterBox case! It is not a bulky as the 4S style as I have a 5S currently in this case. It is just as durable as the older cases, but fits in your pocket better. It covers your phone completely and gives you piece of mind against drops. It may not be as sleek and stylish as other cases, but I was looking for protection. I really like the bright pink color, but you do have to wipe it a lot because it shows marks.

It protects my phone but not bulky. I am definitely pleased with this purchase.

I have had an Outer Box since the Iphone 5 was available years ago.. Its still in good condition and has protected my phone from daily abuse and drops. I'm very reckless! Just bought a new redesigned Outer Box so I can use the Fingertip Technology to unlock the phone or make a purchase. It works great and my phone still has the rugged protection for a reckless old guy.

Overall this is an excellent case for protecting your phone and screen (all in one). It is a little bulky, other than that it works very well.

Got this case for my nephew's iPhone SE. 9 months after putting it on the iPhone, the SE looked flawless upon taking it off. We were able to sell the iPhone and get some money to put toward a new XR. Case was a little beat up, but took a licking and kept on ticking. Great buy, would recommend Otterbox products to others going forward.

Easy to use & put on the phone. Sleek and trim, not bulky, but still offers good protection. My only complaint is that the little piece that surrounds the "on" button split in half - still usable.

I switched to the otter box from the competitor. I liked the durability and choice of colors.

This case is a little bulky for the iPhone. But it should protect well. Keep that in mind if you want accessories such as the clip on lenses.
