I purchased this case for my dad's new iphone. It is perfect for him, durable, and protective.

Just bought a new iPhone SE & wanted the best protection possible for the price. After reading numerous reviews online, the Defender series fit the bill. It provides Drop, Dust, Screen & Scratch Protection. It even comes with a holster that can be used as a mini stand for hand-free use. iPhones are sleek but hard to hold, so this case definitely provides better grip & I love the Gunmetal Gray/White color combo.

I love this case. It has always been reliable and protective on each version of the phone I have had. I did try another brand and it was hardly "lifeproof." Twice the case peeled apart (but we're not reviewing that case here). Should have known better then to move away from the OtterBox. This case is extremely durable. It is a bit more bulky then other cases, but if it is the utmost in protection you are looking for; you can't go wrong here.

Little bulky, but great protection and great warranty. Will not have phone without one. It is not waterproof

The Otter Box gives the protection to my phone that I wanted and was simple to put on the smart phone.

I've always been a fan of otter box cases and I have been purchasing then ever since my iPhone 4. Back then they were a little more bulky wide and the gel piece had a weird texture. But I take my hat off to this better and more sleek design. They were able to make the case less noticeable but still keep the functionality. I always think these otter box cases are worth the money. Now even more so since it won't double the size of my phone.

I bought this case because I was using a less expensive and less safe case. Unfortunately, I dropped my phone on concrete and the case shattered and chipped my phone. I was lucky it didn't crack my screen. The next day I went to Best Buy and paid for the Otter Box. It works. Two days later I dropped my phone and the case wasn't even damaged. This case has saved me a few thousand dollars by avoiding full phone or new screen replacement costs.

This is a great case for a phone. It provides excellent protection from dirt and accidental drops.

Holds up well-i use it for protection at work mostly!!!!!! Black color stays cleaner!!!!!!!!!!

Otterbox has long history of making study iPhone cases. Although this case is not slim by any means it does provide great overall protection against dirt and impact. Im serious this thing can withstand a beating (people have dropped these off roofs before). This is THE case for people looking for one of the best protections for the phones however it does come with the price of having a thick and overall unflattering design.

Three layers of protection, the belt clip and the color are the best features of the case.

Received an iPhone 5 from my brother as he upgraded to a 6. First smartphone so wanted to really protect it well. This does the trick and the teal color is special

Positives: Very sturdy and durable "looking". Provides very snug fit for iPhone and have not had problems with dirt/dust particles, hair, etc getting in under clear plastic screen on front of phone which has always eventually been a problem sooner or later with previous cases. "Tabs/covers" that pull out to cover up and protect headphone jack, USB port to charge phone (both at bottom of phone) and tab that covers Do Not Disturb switch on side of phone all holding up much more than cases I have had in past. Seems like it will hold up and protect phone very well if dropped. Negatives: Although I still believe it will normally hold up and protect phone very well, I had the misfortune to have the 1 time out of 100 that it did not protect phone as well as it should have. Recently had phone in Otter box on belt in clip when it slid off belt while in bathroom and hit hard tile floor. After that phone would not come back on, reboot, etc and I wound up having to get new phone. Overall: Maybe the best case I have had for any phone I have had. Hoping that recent incident when phones slipped off of my belt was a problem with belt and not clip. Also hoping it breaking when it fell was just a fluke and it hit just hard enough in the right spot that caused the problem. Would strongly recommend this Otter box

Nice case, a bit bulky but it really protects your phone against anything (except water).

Case does a great job protecting the iphone. Feels tough and does not slip out of my hand.

Though the thick cover is good for protection, it makes it a little bulky when kept on your waist. But overall it has been great when I've dropped the phone
