Its a good case. Protect your phone.. but 1 thing u can't put a Temperature glass screen protector with this case.

Have used on an S5. Made the phone indestructible. Dropped my phone down several flights of stairs with no damage. Also went through numerous other drops and falls safely.

I love this case. I like how well it fits around the phone and the protective lip around the S-pen and the covers over the charging port.

My Otterbox arrived at the store for pick up a day early and it works really well with my Note 8

The case provides great protection but it's too big. My daughter didn't like it.

I've owned several defender cases and this one has lived up the expectations again. I was a little put off by the removal of the built in screen protector but with moisture building up behind other ones I've owned I can see why they did that. I did put a glass screen protector on my phone and the case fit perfectly with it. I've dropped it a couple times now and my phone has not been damaged. It does add bulk to an already large phone but that's to be expected with the defender line of cases.

I was a bit indesisive to purchase the note 8 due to its price. I once owned a J7 and dropped and broke on the inside. I was hesitant on what case to buy. I usually don't spend much on cases, but for this phone I had to. I spent like 3hr trying on cases and doing my research. Although there were some cute cases out there that made the note 8 look pretty sexy. I prefer protection. Although I have insurance, I would not be happy to pay a deductible when I could of prevented a broken phone! From all the cases I tried , this case feels amazing!!! It does make the phone look a little bulky compare to its original size but it looks and feels great!! I would def recommend. Worth the money.

I have always had great experiences with otterbox on all my other phones. Got the note 8 and defender case, couple light drops and noticed a small crack in the bottom right corner. Eventually the crack got bigger and I filed a claim and paid for a replacement phone through geek squad. 2 weeks later, with the same case on my new phone... it cracked again... I'll be buying a different brand for my next phone.
