This is the second otterbox I have bought. Had one for my s4, very durable and protected my phone from all the drops... So I could not avoid buying another otterbox defender for my new Samsung Galaxy S6.

This is my first Otterbox Defender Series Case, and I'm very pleased with it so far. I'd always been skeptical of the bulk they add to phones, but they've slimmed down a bit recently. I haven't experienced any drops or spills yet, but I feel confident it will provide full protection. My only issue is that I can't keep the screen protector clean on the side that touches the screen; it always seems to attract lint and dust. Other than that, great case for the Galaxy S6!

This case, as all otter boxes, is a failsafe againt clumsiness and misshaps. A bit bulky but of you work outside it is a must. Dropped mi e tumbling down a 40ft cliff and it had no damage and minor scuffs when I finally retrieved it. Not water tight though. Has a self healing screen protector too.

It is the greatest protection for your smartphone, it does protect against dust, theres a film for your screen and also dust covers on all terminals, but that also makes it a little hard to reach (terminals) and the film on the screen keeps air bubbles impossible to clear away, and the speaker sound is very quiet because of the silicone structure that covers the phone is too bulky. So if you are looking for THE GREATEST PROTECTION and you dont mind those little things I mentioned, then go ahead and have a blast !!

While I have made the otterbox defender series the minimum case requirement with any new phone based on previous protection from the product I was happy to see the selection available at launch of the s6 along with how slim it feels compared to past phones. I also work with a lot of people looking for cell phone protection/cases and have recommended the series before and will continue to do so. In my opinion this is the best case and i would not own a smartphone without an otterbox defender to go with it.

This is my second Defender purchase, but only because I got a new phone. The combination of phone cover and screen protector is one of the reasons I bought my first one as it really keeps the phone protected. The other reason to get an Otterbox is the warranty. They replaced my previous holster when it got caught and the belt clip got torn off and when a corner piece broke. So basically you are really buying a product that can "last a lifetime"!

I was somewhat wary about getting the Otter Box Defender case since I had been unhappy with my previous versions. However, after the sales associate told me they were improved, I decided to get one for our Galaxy S6. On the old version, the rubber stretched out, the screen protector didn't fit properly, and the inner plastic tabs broke off. This one fits well and is working great so far.

Will stick with this case from now on. Is all in one with no need for a separate screen protector. Love the fact it has a clip on holster and is warrantied if the clip breaks. I have had cases in the past with clip on holsters and needed to purchase a whole new case when the clip broke. Case is a bit bulky with all the protection it provides but worth it with a $650 phone.

I also purchased this case for my daughter because I personality do not like to have a case on my S6 Edge. It defeats the purpose of the beautiful design of the phone. .....But my daughter on the other hand needed something that will protect her phone when she continually drops it. This case does just that and then some. Great protection, nice fit.

Otterbox is awesome! Love BestBuy deals! This is my first time to purchase or use Otterbox products. My husband and I each chose the Otterbox Defender Series case for our new Samsung Galaxy S6's that we picked at BestBuy through our carrier. I picked the sage green/Hibiscus pink but I ended up with Melon Pop (think watermelon). Not quite sure how this happened but no big deal, I'm still happy with it! My husband picked the blue/grey case. The only thing that would make it better is if it was waterproof as well. I don't understand why you don't have this option for the Samsung Galaxy S6 when you offer it for the iPhone? Like I said, if it was waterproof it would be even better. I am extremely happy with the product, it fits most of my needs. BestBuy is easy to work with online and in store. After looking in the store when we chose our phones, I ordered these online and picked them up in the store.

This is my second OtterBox cell case. I have a very physical job that demands I have a rugged cell case and one that won't squirt out of my hands. This cell case handles it all. Also, when I've been running, my cell has hit the street a couple of times, but this case kept my phone perfectly safe. It should get 10 stars.

After seeing how well my OtterBox protected my Samsung 5 (I am notoriously hard on cell phones), my husband purchased this case for his new phone. It fits perfectly and is lightweight given the size and level of protection it affords. It does increase the dimensions of the phone if you are looking for a slim look.

This is my third OtterBox. They have all been great cases. I would love it if they were thinner but then they probably wouldn't give the great protection for my phone that they do. I try to take care of my phones but occasionally will drop one. With the OtterBox, I have never had any damage to the phone.

I am confident that the shell is tough and will protect my phone from the normal drop 2-4 feet off the ground (off a chair, out of a pocket, etc), so I'm happy with the protection and the screen cover does protect the screen, good there as well. Finally the covers for the charging port and headphone jack do their job well - sealed and protected. Not really happy with the sloppy feel of the screen protector, it feels as if there's a bubble and since it's not fixed to the screen like the ones you apply to the screen stuff can get under the film by way of the button on the front. The edge of the box is also about 1/8" high and if you need to touch the very edge of the screen it's not ideal. Finally the port covers are clunky to hold open while you plug in the charger or the headphones, so not liking that. Overall - fine case and it does what it should do, but daily use is a little less than desirable.

Easy to put on your phone and take off The compact design is more attractive while, still protecting your phone. I've dropped my phone twice and no problem. Also, I like that it has a protective cover for the screen and it doesn't lessen the sensitivity of the touch feature.

lovely, well-priced product that was recommended by our BB tech. covers the phone with an easy-to-use clear plastic screen ( for safety) that works with a stylus. great for us "older" folks that want protection without paying a bundle for a protection plan.

The OtterBox Defender is the best cell phone case for protecting your phone from breakage. The ability to securely grip the phone in hand prevents dropping it on a regular basis for me in comparison to other brands I have purchased because of their attractiveness. I have returned to the Defender after cracking glass screen covers twice on those other brands. I'm sold on the Defender and was able to purchase it at a lower price than shown in the store because of a very helpful sales person. She checked the online price before proceeding with the sales transaction!

The Otter box protection for my phone is excellent. It makes the phone feel bigger than it is but I feel it won't slip out of my hand like it would without it. I gave it a 4/5 because I didn't like the screen protector in front so I took it off and put a high quality glass screen protector on my S6 to maximize my protection. Now it feels and works great.

The OtterBox Defender is the best protection for your phone hands down! I’ve dropped mine from 7 feet in the air numerous times and it just bounces. I won’t even consider a different cover for my phone.
