Have used Otterbox on other devices and continue to be impressed with the quality and ruggedness. This defender is only slightly larger than the phone itself, but that makes it a bit more bulky. However, the flexible external protector with the rigid interior protector is a better design for me than the Commuter series. The Commuter has a rigid outside which is slippery and easier to drop. This one, the Defender, is grippy and easy to hold. I've dropped it twice (nothing major) with no ill effect. It comes with a belt clip, but I don't use and don't expect to use it because it adds bulk and I'm not sure how secure it would be on my belt. .

Love my protective case. Purple color is awesome bonus. I don't have to worry about being extra careful with my expensive cell phone.

So glad to find an Otter Box in purple for my Samsung Galaxy S6 phone. It works great. Yeah, that means I've dropped it a couple times and phone still works. Thanks Otter Box!
