Worth the money excellent protection for your phone

Great cover, I hope it protects as good as it looks

I had the Defender on my S5 for 2.5 years and NEVER had any damge after many many drops. This purchase was an easy decision and the the design for the S8 is slim and easy to handle. Not bulky at all. it's GREAT!

I put one on my phone and it does cover it with a couple layers of protection and would cover the edges of the phone very well. The one flaw this protector has is that it's too thick to be used if you plan to use Samsung Pay or even Android Pay. I've been using Samsung Pay for a couple years with my old phone (S7) with a thinner case and when I moved to S8 I wanted to get stronger protection but I used the phone with this protector at three separate stores that I've gone to before and with this protector I kept getting error messages when using Samsung Pay. I switched to another otterbox cover that was slightly thinner and my Samsung Pay does work. If you do not use Samsung Pay/Android Pay this cover will be good. If you plan to use either one then skip this case as you'll have problems using it with this cover.

Case works great wish I could find a screen saver that would fit with it.

I've always gotten defender series otterboxes because I drop my phone all the time and have even had horses step on them. The otter box had good grip and decent protection. Not as secure as past models with the curved edge screen but still decent

Bought this to go with a new S8 purchased at Best Buy. I have owned other Otterbox cases. This case is way less bulky that the Otterbox Defender case I had on my Galaxy S5. Since I carry my phone in my front pocket and the S8 is long and thin, I wanted a case that had a solid back to protect it from bending when I bent over or got in a car, etc. while the phone was in my pocket. This case is easy to grip and hold on to even with wet hands, There is no screen protector built in, but the S8 has the latest Gorilla Glass 5. Haven't dropped it yet, but I am sure that it is well protected with this case. The back of the case is set up so that your finger will hit the fingerprint sensor without looking.or touching the camera lens.

I've had my Galaxy S8 for close to 4 months now I think, and this is a great case. My only complaint is that since the S8 is waterproof, I use it in the shower to play music. This case doesn't prevent water from getting between the back of the phone and the case, so I'll need to take off the case and dry it sometimes.

This case is very sturdy and solid. You will need to get a screen protector though. It doesn't have one due to the curved screen. I have dropped it several times and the phone is fine.
