This case gives the best protection against drops withut being super bulky. I do still recommend a screen protector.

Great case for actual protection. Much slimmer than older generations of Otterbox Defenders but still will add more bulk than wanted for your S8

After purchasing a couple of so-called cases that would fit and protect my new Galaxy S8, I spent the extra money to get an Otterbox Defender, and boy, am I glad I did. IT FITS PERFECTLY! And as usual. This isn't my first Otterbox Defender purchase so I should have known better than to buy a cheaper model by a different brand. That won't be happening again. I'm sold on this brand and won't be that stupid again. It's Otterbox Defender series for me from now on.

Iv'e had an OtterBox on my old cell and knew it protects my phone well. I had gotten it at Best Buy before and choose to go there to get a new one for my new cell knowing the quality of the product.

So, I was looking on line for a case/holster for my new phone. All of the similar items were $49.00 and over. This one, with all the same spect, was only $17.99!!! It told me I could order online and pick it up at my local Best Buy. Then before I headed there, I got a call that it was in fact out of stock but that I could pick it up at another location. After a little back and forth at the 2nd location, they were able to find one for me and it is perfect!

I love the otterbox in terms of protection for my phone. Never had an issue with dropping my phone, or it getting slightly wet. My only issue is the clunkyness of the product. It is difficult to access the fingerprint scanner on my phone, Note 8, while the case is on. My case is about a year old and the rubber that surrounds the hard plastic case is pulling away at the corners. So overall it's a good product if you want maximum protection for your phone, it just has some aesthetic issues.

This case is sleek enough to still fit in your pocket, but still tough enough to handle a drop. No screen protector is included. The charging port and aux port are covered by removable flaps.

This does a great job protecting my phone... dropped a few times without issue... Not as bulky as prior cases.

Offers great protection and the case is easy to get off and on in case you need to add a SD card for example.

My new phone will be protected. This case has 3 layers of protection. Very nice texture, not slippery.

After looking online & different stores I decided to go with this particular Otter Box. Why? Because it offers great protection as the type of job I have requires me to have access to a phone at all times. If I am transporting objects getting in & out of vehicles all day the case offers protection if I drop my phone or it falls out of my pocket. The case has a clip so I can clip it to my clothes which is really neat.

It is an otterbox, they make the best cases other than lifeproof. Not too much bulk and lots of protection!
