The cost of the phone was the highest I have ever paid for a phone, so I of course wanted protection because I am a cell phone destroyer. This case was actually on sale and I paid less than $20 for it which I thought was awesome. The case paired with the glass screen protector and I feel that my investment is protected. Haven't dropped it yet so haven't tested it out but it's me and its only a matter of time before that ends up happening.

I love the color and I love the brand it is great quality and protects my phone when I drop it often.

I had an Otterbox Defender case for my Galaxy S6 and, because of its screen cover, you could literally throw your phone off the roof of your house and it would be unscathed (not that I tried it, but I saw it done on YouTube, and of course you can believe everything on the internet!) This one doesn't have a screen cover, so it makes the phone more vulnerable to screen damage, but the screen is recessed from the case, so it does provide some level of protection. So far, so good (7 months in.)

The case protect the phone very well. It is not too bulky. Very good case. I recomend it for the S8

While I don't use the belt clip, the phone case does provide good protection against damage. Als the color matches the phone.

I have owned multiple Otter box products, this one, like the others is good. The only thing is for the Galaxy S8 it doesn't come with the screen protector so you have to buy that separately from another manufacturer

The case has proved to be a great protector for my new Samsung galaxy S8 phone. Its not bulky at all.

Sleek and still has great protection. Not nearly as bulky as previous models and has great protection. Downside: No screen cover

When I upgraded my phone there was no doubt I'd return to Otter Box. My first one did exactly what it was supposed to - protect. Even after the truck ran over my device it was still protecting it. Everything except the screen was intact. Sadly I didn't have the front side of the case on the phone at the time, so the device ended up needing replacement - no fault to the Otter Box, though. It was still strong.

Easy to put on and protects phone well.. All you need is a good screen protector and your good.

I didn't really want a new phone, but had begun having trouble with my text messages being garbled and parts missing. I guess now I'm glad I was having trouble with my old phone!

Needed a new phone since my OnePlus was dying. The OnePlus was recommended by a family techie as being technologically advanced, but ended up having some inconvenient quirks such as difficulties in downloading files to computers. This time, I decided to go with a Samsung Galaxy to stick with a common, well supported product. Couldn't really see $800 or more for a bloomin' phone, so I decided to try used/refurbished. Saw plenty of places out on Amazon, but the reviews commonly included issues around not being fully unlocked, early failures, or poor visual condition. I decided to compromise by getting a refurb from a major company that I've done plenty of business with and who has a physical presence with people I could go yell at if necessary. Yes I paid more, but I wasn't willing to risk a great deal of hassle for the $50 difference or whatever. Ordered the S8 from Bestbuy.com, it came a day earlier than expected, and looked new. The tech at T-Mobile had no problem bringing it up on their network and transferring the vast majority of my stuff over, and now any problems I have are user issues rather than the phone's. I'm pleased with the phone, and am convinced it was worth a few more dollars to go with Best Buy. A perfect experience. Sorry I can't comment more on the S8 itself. It's a phone! Nice large display, a good size for me, and it makes calls, gets on the network, and everything else that one acquires a phone to do. :-)

This case really protects your phone. Not as bulky as you might think. Fits in your pocket as well.

Looks nice. Not as bulky as previous one for the Galaxy S5. No screen cover so don't know the phone screen will hold up for the long run. Presuming Phone glass is all they claim.

Not much to say fits good seems to protect well. Sometimes difficult to get in and out of belt clip.

We would buy these cases again in a heart beat. They work well, fit well and are comfortable to grip.

The Otterbox defender cover is great protection for the Samsung S8 phone with the rounded glass on them. It is the only cover I have seen that provides a protective hard edge and outer rubberized edge around the entire phone perimeter. If the phone falls glass side down on any hard surface, the edging prevents the phone face from landing on the surface and cracking. I love it and would buy this brand for other phones.

The Otterbox is perfect for the S8. Lightweight and fit perfectly in your hand. Pretty color too.

The case has a great grip,not bulky. Also easy to take off if needed. Every phone needs a otterbox.
