I've had OtterBox cases before and all of them had a screen protector that made the phone almost useless not to mention the cases were really bulky. I have historically used Lifeproof cases because they were less bulky but Lifeproof caused the same issues with the screen protector and making the phone useless as it created a major echo for those on the other end. This case fits well and isn't bulky and doesn't have a screen protector that makes the phone useless. I'd highly recommend this product.

I have used Otterbox cases going all the way back to my old Blackberry Curve. This is another great case desgined to protect your phone from the toughest conditions. This case does not come with a screen protector. While I understand Otterbox reason for not putting one on this case, I feel that there should have been some type of protection offered with this case considering the price. They could have included a Alpha Glass screen protector with the case, which would make it easier to justify the price. Loss of one star for the lack of screen protection.

This case provides excellent protection for my s8. It was easy to install and is easy to take off the phone to clean.

Simple to use solid product. Easy to fit to the phone. Includes covers for the connectors at the base of the phone.

I love the case, protects and fits the phone very well! Already dropped my new phone :( but nothing happen to it :)

I have had several phones and always get an OtterBox case. Previously, my phone was broken well before the contract was up. Now, the OtterBox case preserves the phone in pristine condition until the phone itself is out of date. The rubber outside layer of the Defender case will probably stretch out after a while, and I wish that OtterBox would offer more color choices. Still, the trade-off for excellent protection is worth the limited choices.

Best case ever. No issues with fit or grip. It just complements the phone in all aspects. A must buy...

This is my second Otter Box. I have used the first with my Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx for four years without any issues. Otter Box has made several nice improvements in this iteration. This is a well-engineered product. I use this case for recreational (cycling) activities to guard against phone damage from road accidents, i.e., crashes and falls. It’s very easy to insert and remove the S8. The case features dedicated insert/remove tabs which minimizes finger strain. This is much appreciated given that I only use this case for recreation and insert/remove my phone several times a week. The flexible ‘rubber’ outer guard keeps out dirt, grime, and liquids while providing responsive access to the S8 buttons. Strangely enough, the case provides pretty good access to the ‘edges’ as well. And finally, the feature that closes the deal for me is the non-contact protective screen cover. On a minor note, I appreciate the non-destructive packaging. The packaging/box is a nice option for storing the case when not in use.

This is the only cell phone case I ever recommend. Fits extremely well & is dependable when dropped.

This case protects my phone and has never failed me . The case is bulky however is very protective.

Once again OtterBox doesn't disappoint! I've always purchased OtterBox for my devices so it was a no brainer when I got a new phone. I like the fact that it's not bulky at all but still provides excellent protection. I have already dropped my phone several times and nothing has happened to my phone. My only concern is that it doesn't come with a shield protector for the face of the phone. OtterBox doesn't make a full 360 protector for the Galaxy S8. Hence the four star rating instead of five.

As a carpenter I come across a lot of wood dust and this case has helped me keep this and other phones clean and free from scratches. The cases will sometimes get really dirty (my doing) from the daily use but when I take my phone out of the case you see how my phone looks like as if it was day one when I got it. Noticed that this case didn't cover the screen but its mainly cause the way the phone is built (S8+). highly recommend

The OtterBox defender for the S8 is perfect. Sexure Protection. And not too heavy on the pocket.

Product provides great protection for my new S8. Fits perfectly, and has three interlocking layers of protection. Much better than the flexible covers. It also clings to surfaces and my hand with the rubberized finish. Cons - Adds weight and is some what complected to take off.

Got this for a Samsung Galaxy S8. Was a satisfied OtterBox customer for my prior phone, so went this way again. The Defender has a removable snap-on cover ... with a belt clip (ugh!). You can use it or not. Most of the time, I go without it (maybe should have bought the Commuter version ...). If your into black, and ruggedness, it's fine. If you're into style (like for an iPhone) ... not so much. Try a Tech21.

I would reccomend this case to anyone. It protects the phone and I can still use it as if there was no case there.

I bought this case after buying the Galaxy S8. The case has three layers to it so the phone appears to be very well protected. The top and bottom of the case are slightly raised to help protect the curved screen. Phone with case fits comfortably in my hand. Blue color is sharp.

I have been a supporter of Otter Box defender since my Galaxy 4. the outside case cover was perfect. nonskid substantial and seriouly protective the belt clip was tight and held my phone in place thourgh the most difficult work, the clip would break before the phone fell out. My phone lasted for years with no and I mean no damage. BUT most of that protection seems to be gone. The new defender is a far cry from it's protective predessors. my phone often falls out of it;s clip for no reason. A nice person at the airport had to track me down one week after I bought it, I didn't even know it had fallen out again the new non skid is a far cry from the old one, True it didn't break so I'M thankful for that protection but I don't have confidence that my phone will be there which requires that I carry it or constantly check to make sure it hasn't fallen out again. If I set it down in the car it may slide onto onto the floor in no time. There are alot of phone cases that provide protection for alot less cost but I sure miss my old defender. a once loyal otter box customer

The Otterbox Defender case really seems to keep my phone well protected. It fits snugly.

great case, easy to install, looks very nice on. it seems to protect my phone nicely
