I was looking for a case and clip carrier for my S8, This was what I was able to find. The case is great for back protection and it wraps around the side to where the glass is at. Doesn't offer any protection to the front at all. It is also a little large and interferes with the Zagg Glass Protector (Hard Shell version). It does provide good grip for the phone and seems sturdy otherwise. Just wish it wasn't as bulky.

I upgraded to this phone from the s6 and I have not been disappointed. Everything is easier on this phone and the secure folder is great, especially if you have kids.

Bought this as the case for my replacement S8. The first had to be replaced because it was dropped in a different three part case and the screen was a very bad mess of spiderwebs afterwards. The only thing I ever drop is - of course - my phone, and I do it all the time. The Otterbox has already potentially saved my replacement S8 on multiple occasions.

Case protects phone very well. Easy to install and looks good.

Had otterboxes on all my iphones and they held up decently well except for normal wear and tear. Got a new galaxy s8 so i went with the tried and true. Well the design is a little weak for the s8. The plastic frame is flimsy and if it is dropped just right or you attempt to take your phone out of the case at all you run the risk of breaking it which is what happened to me. Combine that with the fact that you don't even get a screen protector for the price and I felt it was a little weak.

I always knew about otter box but this is the first time I have purchased it and I must say it was so worth it. It is all that it promises. I have dropped my phone many times and this case has done more than I expected. Only if they made them a little more stylish but I'm so willing to give that up for the extra protection this case offers.

I believe the Otter Defender Series is the best protection you can get for your phone. If you tend to drop your phone occasionally as I seem to do then you need this case. It is truly shock resistant. I have dropped the phone several times and unlike other peoples phones protected by lesser cases my phone did not have any parts affected.

I've had two previous Otterbox Defender Cases for other phones. I loved that they are rubberized, they make the phone bounce if you drop it (rather than shattering), and the built in screen protector. I was very disappointed that, when I received this case, they no longer have the screen protector included! Most of what I worry about with my phones is drops and spills, so that defeats the purpose of the case for me. Will be returning the case ASAP and ordering a LifeProof case instead.

Definitely protects the rear part of your phone but the front obviously is left exposed if it does not remain in it's holster, protected. I did repurchase this item once, because I stretched the rubber portion at the corner after not removing it properly from its holster/attachment. The second one has lasted without issue.
