This is our 6th otter box case, could not be happier, the kids love it cause it allows them to be a little careless at times

Great case for the protection Fits perfectly on my S8

The case protects pretty well. Phone has survived a few drops undamaged. These used to come with built in screen protectors,but not anymore. Trying to match this with a good screen protector to be fully covered has been a pain in the butt because if the curved edges. Would have been 5 stars if the screen protector was still in it. Other wise it's overpriced just to have rubber corners.

The case fits well and feels very sturdy. I did get a screen protector as well but the case is thick and seems to work well

In my opinion, this case does a decent job of protecting your phone. Not outstanding, but decent. I still managed to get a small crack in the upper right corner that extends from the frame to the speaker phone. A little disappointed in that. My biggest pet peave is that the cover actually covers up the edge of the S8, which is one of the main features of the phone. So much for being able to read messages or see notifications from the screen edge. It was alright.

OtterBox is one of the best phone cases I have had. When you have 4 kids, the only way to go is this brand. The solid construction and rubber edging keeps the phone protected when it drops. The only downside is the lack of screen protection, but that is a separate order required to keep the phone safe. I would recommend this product!

This is the second time we have bought an otter box and we love it!! Works great for my husband as he is a truck driver!!

I would highly recommend this Otter Box case for the protection of your Samsung S8 phone. It feels durable and well made. It does add weight to your phone, but for me that feels like a good thing; it feels like protection. I've been an Otter Box user for many years for my tablets and phones alike and I haven't been let down yet.

Sturdy case with great protection, loves the color

This is a typically excellent Otterbox Defender - solidly built, easy to use, and durable. Be aware, though, that due to the S8 edge feature, there is no way to build in a screen as Defender users may be accustomed to. You will have to buy a separate one such as the Zagg (see my review for that, good to have Best Buy install it).

OtterBox is my go to for cases. They are sturdy and provide just the right protection. The Defender series has been reliable for those that work in an environment where there is alot of dust, like a construction sight. I was disappointed to find out that the built in screen protector is not longer available on this series. That's really my only reason for not giving this 5 stars.

Outterbox just keeps making their products better and better. The S8 Defender protects all but the screen. Decided on a screen cover, yet the ease of turning on and off phone and covering of all the wholes in the phone were protected. The silicone casing got thinner compared to previous editions to allow for ease of holding phone.
