I was attracted to the qualities listed in the advertisement and reviews regarding how well the OtterBox brand case protects a smart phone. The cost was nominal for the amount of protection I expected and the color I choose appealed to my personal uniqueness. Best Buy ever...get it? Corny but quite true.

I have been buying the Otter box for a long time, love them! The box works great, but the belt clip holder didn't hold the phone, kept falling off clip. I returned it to Best Buy and they swapped it out. so far so good. I am upset that I have to buy a screen protector separate. A the least, you should get the best screen protector out there and bundle it to sell.

Normally, otter boxes are very thick. But, since the S8 is a very svelte phone, it is really not bad with the otter box on. As is their reputation, this case continues the legacy of a very protective case and I had no worries of breaking my phone.

Good durable case, but its only been a few months and the rubber is starting to peel. My phone hasn't broken though so it does its job.

Bought this case for my new S8 because I tend to drop things. In the last seven days I've dropped the phone three times and you can't tell it from phone performance or looking at it. I had an Otterbox on my old Galaxy S4 for five years-expect to get several years of good protection for the S8.

You can't go wrong with an Otter box. I always get an Otter box for my phones and I have never broke a phone or cracked a screen or anything... my phone has fallen from many places and the Otter box works great. I wouldn't have my phone without one. ALSO THE company takes care of you if your case wears out.

This case was perfect. It fit well and has protected my phone.

The cover is sturdy but light weight. Clip is good to clip onto something safe while you use it.

Love this case. Wouldn't go without it. Just wish it still came with a clear screen shield like my old one.

I am very active, so case is very strong and it does not interfere with the sound or buttons....great case

Its been more than 18 months that I purchased this case with my samsung s8 phone. Worth all the penny and its so sturdy. The case still looks new and over all great protection for your pricey mobiles. Otterbox is always the best.. Will keep buying many of this in future too..

So many features, I'm still learning everything it will do! This phone is amazing compared to the S3 I had.

I drop my phone more often than anyone should, and this case is probably the reason I still have a functional smartphone. The material is starting to peel off a bit on the back of the case, but this issue is only cosmetic. (I got this case when it was very cheap on sale. It works but may not be worth it for you at full price.)

Very well made and durable case, switched from another brand case that fell apart after only a short while and couldn't be happier. Instructions were a little confusing to begin with but once I figure out how to separate all the pieces it was very easy to put on and reassemble.

The Galaxy series has become a challenge to protect. Its all glass, curved front, shrunkwn bezels. I have tried many style cases, but feel the most secure with the good old otterbox for my daughter's S8. She was rough on the S5, but it was plastic. The huge screen is the biggest challenge that no case can truly protect. At least I know I did my best.

I am a firm believer in otter box phone cases. I've used them for years and have never had a phone break!

This was a great option for me being though I could order online and then just pick it up at the store.

My new Samsung Galaxy S8 looked great, but it was so slippery I knew it would end up broken on the floor. After comparing a lot of cases, I came across the Otterbox defender at Best Buy. Looked great, and the rubber material really had a good grip on the back and edges. I highly recommend this case.
